Not many people got it or our scene back then (it was much smaller) but we truly believed that all we need was to just get to one more show and it'll be alright. It wasn't always, but that too was okay as well.

i never, ever, ever get tired of listening to these guys. even this jam, which never really gets off the ground and sits on one note for 15 minutes, is absolutely beautiful to listen to.
Its "we've got it simple"... not a noun. Also its tongue in cheek, the lyrics are simple.. as is the music to it & goofy lyrics were their bread and butter early on
Ok this is exactly why I quit going to the shows. I used to love Treys guitar work for this song. Now it's almost as if they just loop the same riffs for 10+ minutes. There is no breakout Jam. No real soloing going on. they just kind of dancing around each other with their instruments until they get tired of it & decide to end the song. Is so very frustrating for me. I hate to say it but I can't help but to wonder if it's just the simple fact that Trey was a better guitarist when he was loaded.
