Nice work mate, good to see the length of pipe for a bit of old school leverage and Diesel Oil, filthy stuff isn't it. keep up the good work, very interesting. cheers.
Was it left outside with no Antifreeze - just thinking how it could have been so badly cracked? David Brown blocks you had to watch - they'd freeze up and crack just for fun
Start to finish in just over 6 minutes of action packed entertainment
Agree mate and some rather High Voltage music to set the scene, didn't see that coming ! cheers.
Nice 😀 I remember me, six month ago. Great job. Well done!!!!

Thanks! I wanted to see if I could pull it apart without power or air tools. A length of pipe is always handy with an old tractor.
Great content! One question, do you remember the socket size required to remove the front crank bolt/ratchet?
Is this the engine of the burnt tractor, or the wrecked tractor?
This is the engine from the burnt tractor. As the block is cracked I've used it for other videos and parts.
doing this now on our 1962 super major
Best of luck, may all your bolts be free and oil be metal free!

Was left outside in the high country where it regularly snows but was also partially burnt in a bushfire.
