I remember seeing this movie when I was 3 and stuck in Dayton Children’s hospital due to cancer, saw the tattoo on Captain Jack Sparrow, got to meet Johnny Depp, and I told my mother I wanted the Sparrow Tattoo. She told me when I turn 17 and still wanted it, we would go and get it. 14 years later, and I had gotten it on my 13 year cancer free anniversary (which was June 17th, 2021 when I got it). Unfortunately I had nerve damage on the very spot I got the tattoo on due to the amount of IV’s I got there, but I got it on the exact spot Johnny Depp has it on and couldn’t be happier
I loveee this franchise so much! Without Johnny as jack sparrow I never would’ve watched it! He owned the character so much! I can never imagine another jack sparrow

One of the big reason why this franchise was a success is the music. I listened it for weeks after watching the movie. It's so energetic, so uplifting in action scenes, it kicks in the right places. Just try to imagine this movies with different music style, it will be completely different experience and probably not that successful. Now i want to listen Pirates theme again.
True! And to hear this soundtrack live played by an orchestra while you watch the movie is unbeleavable(especially the part with the organ, that was brutally intense) And to hear this melody live performed by Hans Zimmer and band and half of an orchestra is the king class.

The biggest success was obviously eccentric pirate Captain Jack Sparrow, iconically played by Johnny Depp, the first film, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, holds up as an immensely fun blockbuster.
They messed up, the very moment that they did this to him. Big-Time! In their dismissal of Johnny Depp, they sided with a now-proven liar! By not having all of the facts at their disposal, before dismissing him in such a shameful way, wouldn't that make them guilty of Defamation of Character? I'd have to find out the legalities on such a thing as this, but if Johnny Depp decides to stick to his decision to never coming back, I really can't, and I don't, blame him. I blame those who DARED to judge the Man, before knowing beyond the shadow of a doubt, as to whether he was guilty, or not. Thankfully, Johnny Depp has indeed been proven innocent...and now, Disney, and Amber Heard, have egg all over their faces!!!
