Very informatif report. I drove the 150 hp diesel and the 1.5 petrol with 136 Hp. Pitty that the latest has the oldfashened start-stop instead of the Peugeot Micro-hybride Dynamo system of the 218i. The 1.5 136Hp dus an impressif good job up to 205 Km/h with 220 N/m allready at 1250 t/m. I think the A-Tourer has the best driving experience in its class now and is the most spacius and complete BMW (Safety options, LED headlights, auto-parking, automatic driving up to 60km/h only tuch the stearing wheel, standard allert call, standard emergensy brakes in case you forgot to stop for a walking man infront, automatic opening backdoor etc. The Active Tourer is not cheap (40.000-50.00 euro with some options) but will be a bestseller in Europe because its a very good car and for the most other BMW's the environmental Co2 penalty tax is about 8.000 euro higher.
Nice colour, bmw needs to update there interior tho. Compared to the a3 it's terrible. Needs a update which is odd considering how new the 2 series is.
The new 2 Series has a very nice interior.. The current A3 has a dated interior because its 2-3 years old now, so the 2-Series Active Tourer interior is very posh and modern

Its not the most spacious BMW.... And the options you mentioned there are available for all BMWs but the 1 series

Andreas Lie actually the a3 was updated last year!
Anyway, the interior is bland and dull... needs an update now
And the latest A3 was introduced atumn 2012..
