Oh my word! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Flosstube with so much fabulous content! My jaw has dropped! Your quilt behind you is exquisite. Your previous finishes are absolutely gorgeous! Professional framing most definitely is of high quality. Each and every sampler was stunning! I also enjoyed your kitted projects. You’ve flown straight to the top with Brenda and Carol! Thank you for sharing! You can bet I will never miss one of your videos!
Ginger, Thank you so much for your wonderful comment on my video. I am so flattered. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your compliment. I was absolutely gobsmacked to be shouted out by Carol and Brenda. They are the top as far as I am concerned. I am humbled that you will be coming back for more. Stay well. Best, K
Oh love your winter rose manor and Mr Enabler! Love that.. You are such a natural at this and your stitching and finishing is fantastic! Wow can’t wait to see more of your stitching framed, unframed any type of finish!
Thank you so much for your kind comment on my video. I will try to stick with a two week schedule for recording. I hope you will stop by again. Best, K
Karen, all your work is gorgeous, but that quilt! It is stunning. I think we all were monogamous years ago before all the choices were in front of us. I vote for Ann Kirby as a start. I paused the video and went to Hobby House to see if they had any listed. It’s just as well, I’ve got too many things as it is. Thanks for sharing your projects, I look forward to the next video. Susan Murphy
Karen, your stitching is fabulous! And what a collection of samplers -- I should have been taking notes but since it's now October I'm sure you've already solved your September dilemma. I'm trying to be a monogamous stitcher, with the caveat that I can have one cross stitch focus and one knitting or crochet focus. But there are a few ufos tucked away. Current x-stitch is the Eagle from the Year in the Woods series.
Karen you are the absolute GOAT! That means greatest of all time! Slow down sweet friend. We need to savor your fine work! My vote for your next project is Mrs Campbell (I’m in the process of kitting her up). Then pick something in a different color palate. I get stuck when I am sewing the same colors all the time. Congratulations on all the blue ribbons! Again… so nice to meet you!
Thank you for your kind, and forthright comment on my first video. I new I was talking a mile a minute, but I was so nervous, I couldn't slow down. I hope I will settle into a rhythm. So nice to meet you, Rene. I hope you will stop by again. Stay well. Best, K
Thank you for your sweet comment on my first video. I am glad that I came across well because I was extremely nervous and talked a mile a minute. I hope I will settle down in the next one. I will post later this week. Stay well. Best, K
It's difficult to believe this is your first flosstube - you look so relaxed and natural in front of the camera unlike most first-timers. So, congratulations! Your stitching and quilting is exquisite too. Carol, Saltbox Stitcher put out the word about your channel this morning, and I'm so glad she did. You have a new subscriber.
Thank you so much for your kind comment on my first video. I was so nervous, I talked a mile a minute. Carol was so sweet to give me a shout out. I really appreciate it. So glad to have you as a subscriber. Stay well. Best, K
Welcome! I’ve been cross stitching since 1980. I’ve never made a quilt but enjoy seeing them. Congrats on the blue ribbon. I entered a piece in our state fair this year and earned a third place ribbon. We have similar tastes in patterns. I love the soft colors in the samplers.
Kathy, How nice to meet you. Thank you for commenting on my video. I am happy to know that we have similar tastes. We can be co-enablers. Hope you will stop by again. Best, K
Thank you so much for your comment on my first video. I appreciate your compliment on the Halo Medallion quilt. I hope you will stop by again. Stay well. Best, K
Hello Karen! I just watched your video for the first time today and I truly enjoyed watching you and all your cross stitch goodies and gorgeous quilt! You have such a pleasant demeanor and your samplers are utterly beautiful! I’m so glad you popped in my TH-cam feed! I’m on school winter vacation so it gives me a chance to see more floss tubers. Congratulations to all your prize winning pieces! They are all gorgeous!
Karen you are SO talented! What a great video. Like everyone else, I love your quilt. What a stunner. And I think my favourite finished piece was Huckleberry Farm. I agree the little animal poses are adorable. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for stopping by, Laura. I appreciate your sweet comment! I love the Huckleberry Farm piece too. I hope you see lots of things you love in my videos. Take care. Best, K
Great first video! So happy to find a local stitcher. I live in Georgetown, and have met Julia. Let’s do a stitchy group. Your quilt is gorgeous definitely hall of fame 😊.
Norma, Let's make a meet up happen! As I am going through these comments, I am not sure of the names of viewers I have replied to. I think Julia. Propose a day/time. We should look for a date in October because I can publicize it on my next video (Sept. 29). Thank you for your comment on my quilt. I will probably never top that one. Keep in touch. Best, K
Laraine, Thank you for your sweet comment on my first video. I am pleased to know that you enjoyed it enough to subscribe. I will continue to work on presenting interesting content. Best, K
So happy to have found your channel! My mom is also used so sew clothes, but she now pretty exclusively quilts. She’s a hand quilter though: machine pieces, then hand quilts. She taught me to cross stitch, but she gave it up many years ago. I only cross stitch, though I’m tempted to get into sewing and maybe knitting soon!
Delilah, We have a lot in common. Learn everything you can from your mom. How nice that she taught you how to cross stitch. You might start with a small sewing or knitting project so you can have a completion and get a sense of satisfaction. If you choose something too difficult, you might not enjoy the process and give up. I encourage you to give it a try. Stay well. Best, K
I too came to your flosstube via the recommendation of Carol, Saltbox Stitcher. Your projects are right up my alley...I thoroughly enjoyed your first flosstube. Your quilt is amazing!
Thank you for commenting on my video. I am gob smacked that Carol, Saltbox Stitcher watched my video, much less recommended it. I am so happy to know that we share similar tastes. Hope you will stop by again. Best, K
LOVED your finishes and love the patterns you have chosen as starts. I want them all too and want them all done now. ❤ Keep the VLOGS coming. Yay for the enabler.
Hello Karen, Welcome. What a nice 1st Flosstube. Always room for Stitchers. Your FFO’s, WIP’s, and kitted samplers are all lovely. I look forward to watching your decisions and progress. I liked these three for two more sampler choices The Rose and The Giant Pear, Entwined Hearts, Rose Cottage Sampler. Will be fun to see what you chose. I also quilt and yours is lovely. Want to order the pattern. Currently I’m working on Seamstress by Edyta Sitar.
Thank you so much for taking time to comment on my video. I am very grateful for Carol's mention, especially since I am a fan girl of hers. I hope you will stop by again. Best, K
I didn’t hear the first thing you said because of that BEAUTIFUL, AMAZING, MAGNIFICENT quilt behind you!!!!! 😂😂😂 I’m kidding. You did a great job! I enjoyed it! You also have a very calm voice. It’s soothing.
You are so funny! I really appreciate your compliments. I was so nervous, I felt like I was talking a mile a minute, but I couldn't stop myself. I hope you will stop by again. Stay well. Best, K
You stitching and quilting are beautiful!!!! Like you I couldn’t pick what to work on. I’ve just put them in a pile and blindly pulled one out. Oh, that quilt ❤❤❤ definitely one go be proud of!
Sarah with Sarah's Stitchy Spot sent me over here and I'm soooo glad she did! I so enjoyed your Flosstube. Can't wait to see your quilts as well as your other beautiful finishes.
Naomi, I am so happy that you found my channel and thank you for letting me know that Sarah's Stitchy Spot sent you. I hope you will continue to check out my channel. See you soon. Best, K
Hello fellow Kentuckian! I went to our fair and saw your blue ribbon. Amazing. You are a natural at this video, hard to believe you haven’t done them for years. Thanks for sharing your finishes and your wips. Beautiful work. Look forward to watching #2.
I am so happy that I found your channel. You are a natural behind the camera, your voice is so soothing. I would never have known that was your first Flosstube!! The quilt behind you is absolutely amazing. I am not a quilter but admire anyone who is. Your stitching is also beautiful, I can see why you have won ribbons. I can’t wait to see what samplers you have picked. See you next time and happy stitching!
I watched this very enjoyable video while stitching. Thank you for sharing your projects! I have Newcastle Bouquet in the wip pile, and it will likely be there for the next decade. That thing is huge and complicated! I have family roots in central KY (Grayson Co.) I live in NWTennessee. I am a recovering school teacher and now stay-at-home wife. Thanks, again!
Thank you for your comment on my first video. New Castle Bouquet was definitely complicated, but the result was well worth my effort. I love your comment that you are a recovering school teacher. I am a retired school teacher too. I will post another video later this week. Best, K
Brenda Sampler Sticher sent me. Loved your video. Your quilt is wonderful. I really liked all the samplers, we like the same things. Good luck with your channel. You are a joy to watch, so eloquent, so organised. Loved it. I will be back. Take care and enjoy Florida. Best wishes.
Sally, Thank you so much for taking time to comment on my video. I am happy to know that we share a love of samplers. I really appreciate your kind compliments on my video. Stay well. Best, K
Hello Karen, so glad you decided to share your beautiful stitching on flosstube! You did a wonderful job telling us about yourself and sharing your samplers and soon to be starts. I subscribed to your channel and am looking forward to video #2. Take care!
What a gorgeous quilt - definitely one to be very proud of. I will be no help with the samplers. So many wonderful choices, you can’t go wrong! Looking forward to your next flosstube to see what you decided. 💕
Thank you for commenting on my video. Your eye was drawn to the same thing I was drawn to in that pattern. She will have to wait, though because I am working on five samplers already. Hope you will stop by again. Best, K
Carol (Saltbox Stitcher) sent me and I am so glad she did! Your work is beautiful and it is comforting to know someone who completely understand the monogamous stitching mentality". I have 20+ kitted projects but I only work on two (1 small & 1 larger) WIPs at a time. I have tried to start several at a time but it is too oppressive for my "nagging brain" . I need to finish what I start, celebrate the accomplishment, and the enjoy the thrill of a new piece. I need the focus, and loyalty of putting my head & heart into only one or two pieces ; any more and I feel chaotic panic setting in. LOL I know others who can manage dozens of WIPs which is fine for them, but everyone has to do their "own thing" so I have no judgement and no guilt! I look forward to watching you again. Happy Stitching!
Thank you so much for your supportive comment on my video. We each have to find our comfort level in stitching. One person's "too many" WIP's is another persons "just right." I absolutely understand the feeling of having too many things going on and I find it unsettling, whether it is stitching or life. I glad you feel no judgement. I don't either. Stay well. Best, K
I enjoyed your vid very much. So glad you’re here. Your taste in samplers is the same as mine…I also knew Sue Garman well, we were both from the Houston area before her passing. Thank you Lonnie from Texas
Thank you for your sweet comment on my first video. I don't think I will ever top that Sue German quilt. So glad her daughters are still selling her patterns. Happy to hear that we have similar tastes in samplers. Hope you will stop by again. Stay well. Best, K
Thank you for your comment on my first video. I am glad to know that we have the same taste in samplers. I didn't know Sue German, but really love her designs. I am so happy that her daughters are continuing to sell her designs. I will be posting again next week. I hope you will stop by. Stay well. Best, K
Thank you for your comments on my video. I have been asked if I would make some videos for new stitchers. Give me your opinion. Is there a need for this? Are there already enough sources available on the internet? I don't want to spend time reinventing the wheel. I would appreciate your opinion. Stay well. Best, K
Hi Karen, I hope you are doing well. Your quilt is stunning!!! I'm going to research to see if I can still get this pattern. I love the half circle of flying geese. Your FFO's were equally impressive. WOW. Deb from The Country Stitchers "antiques" hers after she stitches. They (Deb and Liz) are worth watching. Happy Stitching. ❤❤❤
Kathy, Sue's daughters sell this pattern. I will try to put the link here. www.comequilt.com/shop/c/p/Halo-Medallion-Quilt-Complete-Pattern-Set-x31889403.htm If that doesn't work for you, try to go to come quilt.com to search for the pattern. Stay well. Best, K
Greeat first FlossTube, and look at you with over 500 subscribers. You are a natural and someone I would love to know and stitch along with. Good luck. Charly
Thank you so much for your comment on my first video. I am amazed at the traction it has gotten without any shout outs from the big floss tubers. I would love to know you too. Maybe we will cross paths at a retreat or show sometime. I will post again later this week. Stay well. Best, K
Thank you so much for your encouraging comment on my first video. Of course I was thrilled with the reception that Halo Medallion got at the State Fair, but I really credit the designer. It is such a stunning design, how could it not win? Many versions of Halo Medallion have won ribbons at Fairs and quilt shows around the country. I will be posting another video later this week. I hope you will stop by. Stay well. Best, K
Your stitching is beautiful! Love the quilt behind you too! Just gorgeous! I was going to vote on which sampler that you should start but I don’t know how you will ever choose there are so many lovely ones to choose from --Thanks for sharing your work-I don’t think it will be long and your goal will be reached of having your walls filled like Brenda and Carol’s.😁 Enjoyed your first video so much -can’t wait for the next one!
Thank you for taking time to make a comment on my video. You are right about the samplers...there is no bad choice. I hope you will stop by again. Best, K
I found it very difficult to concentrate on what you were saying about cross stitching. I was just mesmerized by your quilt! What patience and focus you must have. Definitely a finish to be proud of. Onward to flosstube #2 👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you for letting me know that you could hear me. I did get one comment saying they couldn't hear me at all. I'll be posting again next week, so stay tuned. Best, K
Excellent flosstube! We definitely have thr same taste in cross stitch as I have all thr patterns and finishes you showed, most either finished myself or as WIPS. Loved especially your Newcastle Bouquet finish. I am in Nashville so maybe our paths will cross.
Thank you for your comment on my first video. I am so glad to know that we love the same kind of projects. We can be co-enablers. I hope we can meet some day. Stop by again. Stay well. Best, K
Love the video & your Newcastle Bouquet finish! I have this pattern & really need to start it. My suggestion on your new start would be Mrs Campbell, I love this one too. Keep the videos coming, you're a natural!
Linda, I highly encourage you to get started on Newcastle Bouquet. It is wonderful. The border is very symmetrical, so once you get the rhythm, it goes pretty easily. The hard part for me was the basket and flowers. As I said in the video, I made working copies so I could mark off as I stitched. I really appreciate your comment on how I came across in the video. I was so nervous, I talked a mile a minute. I hope I will calm down as I finish more. Hope you will stop by again. Best, K
Wow! Love your work, you should submit all your work to the state fair. As far as aging your white background , a flosstuber, can' remember who,but dab a cotton swab in coffee, than dab in on you fabric in certain spots! Just a thought. Looking forward to seeing more from you. K from florida🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴
Thank you so much of your comment on my first video. I appreciate your mention of a cotton swab to dab coffee. I think I have seen that also. I have watched so many floss tubes, I have no idea who that was. I will definitely need to do something about the brightness that is distracting for me. Glad to hear from a FL stitcher. Stay well. Best, K
I enjoyed your first FlossTube so much! Carol Saltbox Stitcher recommended you. I was surprised at how many charts you showed are ones I have. My Sampler September WIPs are Eliza M Stone 1881 (completed on 9/22), Little Deeds Sampler (2/3 completed), and Fall Floral Sampler from Knotted Tree NeedleArt (2/3 completed). It’s fun to watch someone with similar tastes in stitching. Looking forward to your next video!
That is the most beautiful quilt I have ever seen! And one I know not to even think about starting LOL. Beautiful finishes! I am pretty much a monogamous stitcher. I tend to focus on one piece and aim to finish in as short a time as I can in order to get through my ridiculously huge library of charts, which of course is impossible unless I live to be 400 years old and stop purchasing new charts LOL. Loved your first Floss Tube❤
Thank you so much for your compliment on my quilt. It is definitely the best product I have ever completed. We are in the same boat about our piles of charts waiting to be stitched. I hope you will stop by again. Best, K
Nicely Done, great work. I need a Brenda to give me "marching orders"! I joined in on the FQS Mystery Christmas SAL, it's cute. I zoom across my craft room on a wheeled desk chair too. Beautiful Quilt.
Dee, I am recognizing your name already. Thank you for commenting. I love my rolling chair. It is easier than getting up every time I need to reach something. Maybe I'm just lazy. Stay well. Best, K
Subscribed. And I’m not a sampler girl. I live in AZ not far from the Attic. But samplers and alphabets don’t usually appeal to me. But your framed pieces did. More Quaker to me with all the motifs. You would’ve thought you’d been doing Flosstubes for years. A natural. That quilt is a show stopper! That would cheer me up anytime I walked in that room. Beautiful! Thx! PS: I’m still a monogynous stitcher.
Thank you for taking time to comment on my video. There is so much variety available in cross stitch that everyone's taste can be satisfied. I appreciate the compliment on the quilt. It is definitely the best I've done. Hope you will stop by again. Best, K
Yes I subscribed. Definitely will follow you. Loved your framed pieces. Just beautiful. And yes. There is something for everyone for sure. But I admire all of them. Have you seen the montage from Country Stitchers that Deb is doing? I love that one too. But I couldn’t get over the samplers you finished. Just gorgeous. And that framing you did with the scallops in it. Just lovely. again for the video.
My friend recommended me to your flosstube, and I'm so happy she did. You are so well- spoken and a natural in front of the camera. I loved the quilt you displayed and can appreciate all the work that went into making it. Your stitches are just as beautiful.
I would love to see your quilts. All of your projects are just gorgeous and the framing is perfect. You probably have enough already to have a wall, like Saltbox stitcher and Brenda. Great video😊
I am so happy to have found you! I enjoyed your first flosstube so very much. The Quilt you showed is absolutely stunning. We have such similar tastes in both cross stitching and quilting. I am off to watch your second flosstube 😍
Your floss tube was very nice, that quilt behind you is beautiful as are your finished samplers. I am more monogamous than not but since floss tube I have spread my wings a bit and made many friends of like interest. I also quilt, crochet and knit and also it has passed down from grandma, mom and a aunt.
Rebecca, Thank you for taking time to comment on my first video. I am so happy to know that you enjoyed it. Like you, Floss Tube has opened up a whole new world of designers, flosses, and fabrics. I love that you have learned from your mother, grandmother and an aunt. I think it is very important to pass down knowledge of crafts to the next generation. Stay well. Best, K
Just found you today and I am so glad that I did. I have Newcastle Bouquet on my wishlist and seeing your finish makes me want to start it immediately. Absolutely beautiful finish!!! And the quilt behind you is amazing! Can't wait to see what you share in future videos.
I am so happy that you found my channel. I encourage you to start Newcastle Bouquet. You will love it. The border is very symmetrical, so once you get the rhythm it goes pretty smoothly. The hardest part for me was the basket and flowers. You will love it. I hope you will stop by again. Best, K
Lou, Thank you for taking time to comment on my video. I am happy to know that it showed up in your feed. I have no idea how TH-cam does that. The mysteries of technology. Top you will stop by again. Best, K
Just saw your #1 Flossstube entry this morning. I have already subscribed. You and I have similar tastes in samplers. Very inspired by your beautiful stitching and quilting. Not a quilter yet, but have enjoyed watching Karen McTavish and her long arm quilting.
Thank you for taking time to post a comment on my video. I am happy to hear that we have similar tastes. We can be co-enablers! Welcome to my channel. I hope you will stop by again. Stay well. Best, K
Hello Karen, your work is fabulous, and your humility is so heartwarming! Your quilt looks like a tapestry and is truly exquisite. I think Rosa Sugars may be lovely for Sampler September…Thank you!
I like be love love your floss tube. I can so relate to you and stitching and quilting. I made many patterns with cereal boxes. Lol. I also bought years ago kits for stitching from K Mart lol.
I am so glad you made this first TH-cam video...I did subscribe and 'liked' and I look forward to seeing many more videos from you. All your projects are drop-dead gorgeous and your work impeccable!
Hi Karen - Great first video. You have a terrific camera - when you show your finishes, they are so clear and vibrant in colour. Looking forward to your future ones. And that quilt behind you is just superb. Others have done the coffee/tea dying after stitching and I think if you do not leave it in there too long, it should be ok. I vote for Rosa Sugars. Could you take a picture of a quilt to show when you are in Florida?
Thank you for commenting on my video. I film with my iPhone. It is good to know that it comes out so clear. I will definitely coffee/tea dye Rose Ada Featherstone when I finish stitching it. Others have also said this can be done. Rosa Sugars is in the works this month. I hadn't thought of taking pictures of quilts so I could show them in Florida. That is a good idea because I will only take a couple with me for display purposes. Stay well. Best, K
Loved your first video Karen! Just outstanding samplers and that quilt is fabulous! Welcome from another Michigander, although I know you live in KY now. You are a natural!
Judy, Thank you for your sweet comment on my first video. I'll always be a Michigander at heart. I'll be posting another video later this week. Stay well. Best, K
Love your Flosstube! Carol the Saltbox Stitcher mentioned your channel. I am also a quilter and cross stitcher along with doing wool appliqué. Your work is beautiful!
Thank you so much for your comment on my channel. I am blown away that Carol Saltbox Stitcher gave me a shout out. I am a total fan girl of her channel. Stay well. Best, K
Great video and, yes, it is hard to believe it’s your first one. Your finishes are amazing! I love the quilt also. Sue Garman designed some of the prettiest quilts. Looking forward to your future videos!
Wow I am loving what you’ve accomplished. Beautiful projects that you finished. Oh and that quilt. Wow. Amazing. I love quilting. And I’d love to learn something new. So yea. Need to see what I can do. I loved watching your video. You did awesome fir your first video. I’m looking forward to more!!!!
Hi 👋! I'm new here. I heard about you from Sarah's Stitchy Spot and I'm so glad I did! Your finishes are absolutely stunning. It inspires me to what to finish some I have started. I'm a serial starter and I tend to start things and never finish many😬. I'm from KY as well.. western KY. I live in TN now but was born and raised in a small college town in KY for about 33 years. I look forward to watching the rest of your videos💕
So nice to meet you!!!!!! Welcome to Floss Tube. It’s so wonderful to have another channel to watch and enjoy. I love reproduction quilts and reproduction samplers so we are going to have lots to talk about!!! Thank you for taking the plunge and starting a channel
Thank you for your comment on my first video. I am a bit star struck. Yours is one of my favorite channels because I love the same things you do. I especially liked the video you did on hem stitch. I haven't tried it yet, but I will. Your video where you talked with Katherine Adrian was wonderful too. I hope you will stop by my channel again. Stay well. Best, K
@@recoveringmonogamousstitch1947 I am so excited to connect with you… I know we have so many similar interests! Can’t wait to see what else you’re working on🤩
Hello this is Mary Ann from South Jersey from South Jersey I enjoy the fact that you're new on the TH-cam I enjoy your information and I'm new at cross stitch thank you for sharing have a nice day
Mary, Thank you for taking time to comment on my video. I have been asked to make some videos for new stitchers. Is this something that would interest you? I hope you will stop by again. Best, K
Hello from Alberta Canada. I heard about your channel from both Carol Salt Box Stitcher and Brenda and the Serial Starter! You can’t get any higher recommendation than that. We have very similar tastes in cross stitching and I have also been a quilter for 40 years. I can’t seem to have more than a couple WIPS at a time - my brain can’t cope with more!! I’m subscribed and looking forward to your next video.
Verna, How nice to meet you. So happy to know that I have some international viewers. I was flabbergasted to hear the shout outs from Carol and Brenda. We have a lot in common, don't we? We love samplers and we are quilters. The number of WIPs we are comfortable juggling is a very personal decision. We each have to stay in our comfort zone to avoid just giving up in frustration. On the bright side, you get each of your projects done in a shorter time that those who work on many at a time. Thank you for subscribing. Stay well. Best, K
You are doubly talented. ..quilting and cross stitch. I think you’ll like the gray for Red Bird Sampler. I stitched mine on the called for and it’s too dark brown for my taste. I like the softness of some gray tones. So enjoyed your flosstube. See you next time.
Thank you for your comment on my first video. I appreciate your input on the gray fabric I have pulled for Red Bird Sampler. It will be one of my Sampler September projects. Thanks so much for stopping by. I will post another video this week. Stay well. Best, K
The project bag for Jane Hopkins is GORGEOUS!!! Your speaking style is perfect. You are warm and welcoming. You are lovely.
Thank you so much. Best, K
Everything was so beautiful including the quilt, which is a show stopper...holy moly!! Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you for your kind comment on my video. I hope you will stop by again. Stay well. Best, K
I just found your channel and admire all of your "eye candy." Your first video was amazing. You're a natural! Thank you for sharing! 😊🪡
Thank you for taking time to make a comment on my video. I appreciate your compliment. Hope you will stop by again. Best, K
I really enjoyed your1st flosstube! Beautiful stitched pieces and future projects! Welcome to flosstube!
Thank you so much for commenting on my first video. I am so happy to know that you enjoyed it. Hope you will stop by again. Best, K
Enjoyed seeing all your beautiful work, but that quilt is beyond amazing.
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment on my video. Hope you will stop by again. Best, K
Stay well. Best, K
Fantastic job on your first and I'm sure we will all look forward to seeing you again! Love all your choices, simply beautiful!
Thank you so much for your kind comment. Stay well. Best, K
Great flosstube! I love all the samplers you showed and your quilting is amazing!
Thank you so much for your kind comment. Hope you will stop by again. Best, K
Your stitching choices are beeeeeautiful! I’m in!
Thank you so much for your sweet comment. I hope you will stop by again.
Best, K
Hi Cindy, how's your day going with you?
WELCOME! There can never be enough Flosstuber. You have such beautiful stitching. Take care.
Thank you for taking time to comment on my video. I appreciate the compliment.
Stay well. Best, K
Love, love, love your video and all the projects,,,,ALL blue ribbon worthy, you are a natural in front of the camera too Cindy
Best, K
Perfect floss tube! I totally understand your quilt being Best of Show. Beautiful stitching.
Thank you so much! I am thrilled that you found my video. I appreciate your warm comments. Hope to see you again soon. Best, K
Best, K
Its julia, we thought Oct 4th at Hamburg barnes and noble book store at noon!
@@juliaomcs That works for me. I will announce on my next video (Thurs. Sept. 29).
Your samplers are fabulous, welcome to the flosstube community. So happy to add you to my subscription of outstanding stitchers.
Laraine, Thank you for your sweet comment on my first video. I am pleased to know that you enjoyed it enough to subscribe. I will continue to work on presenting interesting content. Best, K
Hi Laraine, how's your day going with you?
Stay well. Best, K
@9:21. That is GORGEOUS! Wow, such beautiful work. I love them all!
So happy to see that you are catching up on past videos.

Your work is beautiful! Can't have too many flosstubes!

Hello Karen,
Welcome.
The quilt behind you is gorgeous. You have the right to be proud of all your projects. Such talent!
Thank you so much for your sweet comment. I hope you will stop by again. Best, K

Hello fellow Kentuckian! I went to our fair and saw your blue ribbon. Amazing. You are a natural at this video, hard to believe you haven’t done them for years. Thanks for sharing your finishes and your wips. Beautiful work. Look forward to watching #2.
Hi Ruthie. So nice to meet you. I appreciate your comment on my quilt. I hope you will stop by again. Best, K

Thank you for your comment on my video. I appreciate the compliment. Best, K
Karen, I forgot to thank you for mentioning the red sampler you are working on from my Sampler collection II book!
Stay well. Best, K

Boy you went from one project at a time to a gazillion ones 😊
Yes I did. Not overwhelmed yet, though. Best, K
What a gorgeous quilt - definitely one to be very proud of. I will be no help with the samplers. So many wonderful choices, you can’t go wrong! Looking forward to your next flosstube to see what you decided. 💕

Everything you have made is beyond words.

I love the quilt hanging behind you. It's lovely.
Thank you so much for your comment on my video. Halo Medallion will be the apex of my quilting journey. Hope you will stop by again. Best, K
Hi Katherine, how's your day going with you?
All of your work is so beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much! I appreciate your comment.
Your taste in samplers is the same as mine…I also knew
Sue Garman well, we were both from the Houston area before her passing.
Thank you
Lonnie from Texas
Thank you for your sweet comment on my first video. I don't think I will ever top that Sue German quilt. So glad her daughters are still selling her patterns. Happy to hear that we have similar tastes in samplers. Hope you will stop by again. Stay well. Best, K
Thank you for your comment on my first video. I am glad to know that we have the same taste in samplers. I didn't know Sue German, but really love her designs. I am so happy that her daughters are continuing to sell her designs. I will be posting again next week. I hope you will stop by. Stay well. Best, K
That is awesome you join floss tube. You all have so much to teach us newbies. 🌺
Thank you for your comments on my video. I have been asked if I would make some videos for new stitchers. Give me your opinion. Is there a need for this? Are there already enough sources available on the internet? I don't want to spend time reinventing the wheel. I would appreciate your opinion. Stay well. Best, K
The quilt on the wall was amazing congratulations ❤
Hi Karen, I hope you are doing well. Your quilt is stunning!!! I'm going to research to see if I can still get this pattern. I love the half circle of flying geese. Your FFO's were equally impressive. WOW. Deb from The Country Stitchers "antiques" hers after she stitches. They (Deb and Liz) are worth watching. Happy Stitching. ❤❤❤
Kathy, Sue's daughters sell this pattern. I will try to put the link here. www.comequilt.com/shop/c/p/Halo-Medallion-Quilt-Complete-Pattern-Set-x31889403.htm

Thank you so much for your comment on my first video. I am amazed at the traction it has gotten without any shout outs from the big floss tubers. I would love to know you too. Maybe we will cross paths at a retreat or show sometime. I will post again later this week. Stay well. Best, K
You did a wonderful job. Your a pro. All your stitching is beautiful and your quilt should have won best in show. It is breathtaking!
Stay well. Best, K
Beautiful quilt and stitching! Wonderful video, looking forward to the next.

Hi Cindy, how's your day going with you?
I found it very difficult to concentrate on what you were saying about cross stitching. I was just mesmerized by your quilt! What patience and focus you must have. Definitely a finish to be proud of. Onward to flosstube #2 👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you so much for your kind comment on my video. I am thrilled that you are going to watch #2. I must be doing something right. Stay well. Best, K

Excellent flosstube! We definitely have thr same taste in cross stitch as I have all thr patterns and finishes you showed, most either finished myself or as WIPS. Loved especially your Newcastle Bouquet finish. I am in Nashville so maybe our paths will cross.

How nice to meet you, Beverly. I am happy to know that we have similar tastes. We can be co-enablers. Stay well. Best, K
Best, K
Welcome to Flosstube Karen! Your stitching is all so beautiful 🤩 Thank you for sharing 💞

Thank you so much for your comment. Your words mean more to me than I can express. Best, K
I would love to see your quilts. All of your projects are just gorgeous and the framing is perfect. You probably have enough already to have a wall, like Saltbox stitcher and Brenda. Great video😊

Best, K

Stay well.

Stay well. Best, K
