I used to be in marching band when I was in the 9th and 10th grades. Our number one rival played this during their half time shows so we decided to pick it up ourselves and show that that we could do better. Which of course, we did. We took it to several marching contests and received superior ratings every time. I'll always remember this song fondly from 25 years ago.
If there is a better marching band song on the field, I don't know what it is. It's got rising tension at the start, big moments in the middle, amazing trombone and trumpet solos, and one of the most epic finales to a song you'll ever hear.
College bands usually make this sound very very band. They did an awesome job on this one. The tempo did not drag once, never did it crash, awesome job guys. It has the melophone response to the melody, it might be missing a little bit of the super stud horse higher than fuck baritone, but great job for sure.
Good stuff!! However!! The person filming this could of stood up because the people several rows down came to bull 🐂 shit and kept standing up which is rude!!

Doing this in Marching Band.
Someone get those trumpets a mic, missed half the solo :/
this was awsome
a drum and bugle corps with a fraction of this horn line peels paint off the wall
Even my band played the shit out of this
Yea but their last hit in the first movement is louder then even Madison back in the day. They got a shitload of brass out on that field.
Evan Peters went and talked at this school
