That Notorious B.I.G. line wasn't an insult. Pennywise was saying he's the best walleyed rapper since Notorious B.I.G. because Bill Skarsgard has a lazy eye too, so Pennywise was saying Joker made a mistake battling against someone with that level of skill by challenging him. It was a flex bar.
That was really one of the worst self-disses in ERB. XD And the whole set about Fortunado was referencing someone else's work entirely... So IT won...? Somehow...?
@@Velgar_Grim I personally thought it was a tie because a lot of IT's and Joker's lines had a crap ton of layers hidden beneath them and I caught most of them like for instance when pennywise said "beep beep you're a John Doe in my Deadlights" that actually is referencing quite a few the one's I know it's referencing are as follows: "beep beep"= "beep beep richie" which is one of the members of the losers club and a line that's said in the movie but it doubles as a horn of a car to pave the way for the second part, "you're a John Doe in my Deadlights" now this is where most of the layers are: you're a John Doe= John Doe is a unidentified body or someone they don't know the name of who's killing people but can also be used to call someone a nobody if used right which is what pennywise was going for because that's Joker's fear is being forgotten, now there's more to this bar because Joker's name in the telltale series Batman is John Doe because this takes place before he becomes the Joker so it's also a reference to that but now we're heading to the endgame of the one's I know that I currently remember (it's almost 5 am so I might be forgetting a few layers but these one's are here because I'm not the only one who noticed them)SO pennywise said a "John DOE in my Deadlights" and the reason I put Doe in all caps is because of these layers that follow: "Doe in my Deadlights"= when a deer gets caught in the headlights of your car they stop moving and just watch the car coming that's bringing their impending doom Because it's like they're paralyzed with fear, a Doe is a female deer so he's calling him a girl and if you want to stretch a little like one of the reactors did I can't remember who you could say he's calling him a bitch which he might be but I can't say for sure and IT'S Deadlights paralyze you with fear much like the headlights of a car does to a deer so if you get caught in his Deadlights (that thing where he opened his mouth and it had all that teeth and the three heads inside for those who may eventually see this and may have somehow never seen IT) you're basically Dead so he's saying he's gonna trap Joker with the Deadlights and that Joker is basically Dead Because he's gonna kill him and there was at least one or two other layers I found but I can't remember them now so I'll come back and edit this with those one's when I'm more awake and I'll reply to you again saying I did after so you can see the other layer/layers
also the fortunato was a homage to the Edgar Allen Poe vs Stephen King rap battle erb made as well as a scheme to say he's gonna trap Joker and win this battle like montressor did to fortunato in the cask of amontillado and obviously like he said fortunato was dressed as a jestor hence another reason he used that book

When Joker said "Im a shining man WINK" It was a refrence to the fact that the movie that The Shining movie didnt follow the Stephen King book like at all and just did it's own thing and Stephen King got super triggered by that fact and made his own version of The Shining that was accurate to the book. That movie bombed horrifically in the Box Office.

Because its getting annoying if someone is overly emotional, like people screaming "owwww" and with that removing headphones and walking away from camera. That tics me off. Tim Curry who played Pennywise in the tv movie, played a devil like character in Tom Cruise's Legends in the 80s. That is where Pennywise and the devil comes in as a bridge between the two.
There is an additional level to the bar with the cask of Amontillado that no one ever seems to talk about. In a previous battle, Steven King (It) battled Edgar Alan Poe (Cask of Amontillado), so by referencing himself like that Pennywise implied that King steamrolled over Poe.
I call this a tie. Joker was fire all the way through, but so was Pennywise. It's so nice to hear someone pronounce "Amontillado" correctly. And it's awesome to not have to explain Gacy. Gacy also leads into the "underground" part, as he buried most of his victims in the crawl space under his house. Here's another fun fact: Stephen King started working on "IT," in 1978; the same year Gacy was caught. Some pics of "Pogo the Clown" show Gacy holding a bunch of balloons. King could have given any appearance he wanted to his monster. Do you think that Pennywise might have partially been inspired by Gacy?

I have kinda disliked the part of Joker pretending to have higher standards and that he would not stoop that low. That you explained that Joker has that trait makes it a lot more reasonable a bar to me.

I call this a tie. Joker was fire all the way through, but so was Pennywise. It's so nice to hear someone pronounce "Amontillado" correctly. And it's awesome to not have to explain Gacy. Gacy also leads into the "underground" part, as he buried most of his victims in the crawl space under his house.
Here's another fun fact: Stephen King started working on "IT," in 1978; the same year Gacy was caught. Some pics of "Pogo the Clown" show Gacy holding a bunch of balloons. King could have given any appearance he wanted to his monster. Do you think that Pennywise might have partially been inspired by Gacy?

I have kinda disliked the part of Joker pretending to have higher standards and that he would not stoop that low. That you explained that Joker has that trait makes it a lot more reasonable a bar to me.
Yeah, it may not make sense first glance because they are both villains, but joker thinks of himself as a “high-class” one per say.
For me there was no coming back the "ask Robbin if I drop Bars" line. Joker won it right there.

what you missed that i know is the fall from a new height (in the first batman movie he die from falling from the tower) Doe is a also a deer that freeze in front of headlights of a car, The Casque of Amontillado is not a jester that seals him self, but a revenge story by E.A poe where during a costume party where one leads a drunk jester to a trap and entomb there to die.
in the last lines he says that the joker gonna float with him, its a reference to all the people he ate and they forever float in him so he is gonna eat the Joker.
