How to Score Easier (Add Points to Every Game)

  • Not every bucket has to be a tough, high-effort bucket. In fact, even the best scorers in the world score primarily on EASIER shots and actions. If you can get these concepts down and consistent, it'll change your game completely.

    As a slow and non athletic hood player, I can tell that i dominate the game just developing my mid-range shoot to another level, i can catch and shoot, play pick n pop being 6'0" and reading the game to assist when it's possible, I'm not a pro player but i can do my part in anywhere just defending and scoring mid-range shots and casually some threes

    Love how you show clips of Dwade, he was certainly one of the greats who made the game easier. Dwade did not have the smoothest outside game but his efficiency was because of high IQ offense and ultimately his impact on winning is what made him the 3rd SG goat behind MJ and Kobe.

      as far as when to use it i say when you’re open for that second and its not enough time to take a pull up jumper and the big is kinda waiting but has his hands down, easy floater. or even when someone on the help side is there ready to take a charge

      Keep doing the same things to score

    • @ByAnyMeansBasketball
      @ByAnyMeansBasketball  ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Why are you a liability?
      I think the biggest thing to understand is that only the most elite scorers in the world are consistent being the leading scorer. It’s OK to not be the leading scorer every game, because it’s so situational. As long as you’re not a liability, ups and downs are not only ok but expected!
      Scoring in these ways will also help your consistency skyrocket in my opinion.

      @@ByAnyMeansBasketball i think sometimes my team is better off without me checking in the game, although it was my first time year playing organised basketball i still believe that i have the skill and confidence to dominate the game but it just doesn’t happen

    • @chrisisslick
      @chrisisslick ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@ilykwann you gotta understand that there's way more to basketball than scoring. Focus on things you can control: shot i.q. (take good shots), spacing, set picks, get assists (don't only pass to get assists), rebound (box out) and ALWAYS PLAY DEFENSE.

    • @Steven-wq8tx
      @Steven-wq8tx ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You just need confidence even when you have a bad game. I know it’s hard to shake off a bad game DURING the game but this video pretty much explains how to make your life easier by getting easier buckets not only for yourself, but for your teammates. Set off ball screens to free your teammates, cut to the rim for a sneak lay, or crash the offensive glass for putbacks, play lockdown defence and get a steal for fastbreak layups, etc. If you’re doing a lot of little things like that your teammates will appreciate you and look to get you the ball more too.
