    the only light that wont turn on in your pocket, wallet or purse. i gave my mom a few other and she didnt liked any, for good reasons. she love this one.
    im wearing Cargo so i carry a Baton4, or a Seeker4Pro or a Javelot Mini. often, a combination of 2.

      That’s true, it would be pretty difficult to accidentally knock it out of the base. And nice 🫡

    Super neat innovation. Like the larger size difference of the v2 and it being rechargeable. Great vid Jake!

    Used the imini as a necklace and since upgraded to this imini 2 and both of them I love but i wish the imini 2 was less bright with better battery life. It would have been perfect. I prefer the battery version in red especially. Left my necklace at my GF's house for one week and I can't tell you how many times I grabbed at my chest with disappointment without it! Very true story.

    • @UncommonEDC
      @UncommonEDC  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Nice! And agreed, I think there could’ve been a nice middle ground where it’s just a bit brighter than the iMini but not as bright as they made it. Still, an excellent little light. Thanks for taking a look!!

    nice review. also an excellent tip using the prybar as a handle. when i first saw this light i liked the idea of it just like you with the how the on/off works but i have large hands i couldn't see myself being able to fiddle with that tiny light in the darkness. BUT your prybar solution has opened up the door for possibilities for me and i think i might get it now!

    • @UncommonEDC
      @UncommonEDC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! In theory the small size is a plus but then when you have to use it, it ends up being smaller than you’d like so I’m glad I was able to come up with a solution. Thank you for watching!! 🔦👊🏼

    Bro, I fell in love with that little light. So useful for me. I connect it to my edc bag and its perfect! Just the right amount of light. I don't understand how anyone could not love it. Show me one in the same category thats better! It seems like you were expecting a little more than it was intended for. I absolutely love it. Im definitely grabbing a few more, just to have them. So useful! Use your imagination! 😊

      I hope it didn't come off that I dislike this one as I think it is a really great little light. I still prefer the i1R2 over it but a lot of that may just be that I am used to that one. That said, you can't go wrong with either one and think it will just come down to individual preference. Thanks for taking a look and glad you're loving the light!

    Great review Jake and a good idea using the pry bar as a handle. I didn’t get this light because I couldn’t figure out how I would use it. I always have at least two lights with me and I find that 50 lumens is too much for use in my house at night and not enough light for when I’m walking my dogs. It’s really a cool light and I’ll probably still get it just to play around with it. I’m addicted to flashlights. Thanks for taking the time to review it for us. 🙏

    • @UncommonEDC
      @UncommonEDC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! And agreed re: the 50 lumens being somewhat situational. That is one area the i1R2 has it beat as it has a low mode and a high mode while still being pretty simple operation and form factor. Thanks for taking a look!! 👊🏼🔦

    I had recently upgraded my keychain light from the 1 Battery (i3E EOS) to the (i1R2 Pro) rechargeable and love it.
    At the same time, I carry a (i5R EOS) with the tail switch as a main pocket carry.
    I prefer to keep a small power bank in my EDC bag anyway so I can charge them on the go if needed.
    Having 2 flashlights on you is great in case you need more Lumens for a certain task. Thanks for the update vid!

    • @UncommonEDC
      @UncommonEDC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ve been rocking a similar two light setup with one on my keychain and one in my pocket but may or may not have the power bank depending on if I’m carrying a bag or sling that day. But agreed, covers you for almost any task and if you have a means to charge you can still use one while the other charges. Thanks for watching!! 👊🏼🔦

    i usually have my keys karabinered to my belt loop. got my truck keys on a non magnetic quick release. if i need the light, just pull and pop it between my teeth while i look for something or if i need both hands, or just slightly pop it out when walking out the door and to my truck in the dark.

    I use this light only when both hands are needed for a task. I place the light between my lips and find that it works wonderfully. Lips act like a third hand and easily adjust to the angle needed for maximum lighting.

    • @UncommonEDC

      Nice, it’s a solid little light. I try not to hold any lights in my lips since hearing about the one that exploded and got lodged in the one guys throat (it didn’t end well for him) don’t think it would be an issue with these batteries but I still try not to make a habit of it haha.

    Good review, it is definitely on my whishlist!
    To your question: on the one hand 3 reviews with 1 month carry duration are interesting because a month is a considerable time period and there is more variety if one flashlight is not so interesting for someone. On the other hand a longer test is cool because you can really see quality differences between brands and products… hard choice but I think I would rather watch the three different 1 month reviews, because if you have problems in that time it would not hold up longer and if it makes it through that time it should hold up more usage.
    Great video as always, I’m still catching up on your previous uploads because of vacation xD

    Can you not just use the magnet to attach it to the side of the docking base?

    • @UncommonEDC
      @UncommonEDC  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can but because it’s rounded, it doesn’t sit stable on the base so if you rotate it, it slides. Also I like the Prybar because it’s longer than everything else on my keychain so it sticks out a bit.

      As mentioned on your other comment possible to find doesn't equal readily available. If my light dies on a road trip in the middle of the night and the only thing open is a gas station, they will definitely carry AA or AAA but will they have LR41 (it's possible some would if they have a big battery selection but I would guess most don't). The 2 is rechargeable so I don't have to worry about finding any batteries so that is my preference, doesn't have to be yours. Thanks for watching!
