I'm still not sure why he dislikes the mini so much... I love it, I have plenty of olights and this one has it's place.... connected to my bag! And its actually the perfect amount of light I need for its use!
Thanks for your comment. It just falls in a weird spot for me. There are tons of cheaper lights (even from olight) that have better output and my phone light has 50 lumens. Not to say that it has no use but it wouldn’t be my pick if I had to buy one. $20 feels a bit high for it and I would guess they have it as a giveaway in the future.
I do have it on my key chain for it's function, besides my edc flashlight. I agree it's not worth the $20 dollar price tag but it is a nice convenient light. I do like Olights but there are cheaper lights out there with the same comparable lumens and candela.
I think this light is good for an edc pouch or a bag. As far as using it for anything else? Maybe if you were in a pinch. Better lights out there but I agree it definitely has its place in a edc scenario. Might be a good map reading light.
I actualy did a run time on this light and it was still putting out bright light after 4 hours. I use a power bank to charge mine. If after the red charging light goes out and the blue full charge light doesn’t show, you’re not fully charged and won’t get the long run time…
Hey,I love it! I paid $10 bucks for it on Amazon, and it's really handy on my keys! I usually have a Streamlight in my pocket, but if I forget it,guess what... I have a bright light on my keys!
I got one for my wife to clip on her keychain. It’s great for her because all she has to do is pull on it. No twisting, no buttons to push, it’s perfect for her.
I use mine for work. I manage AV multimedia equipment and this small light is perfect. It is portable and I carry it in my badge lanyard. It isn’t super bright (like a handheld flashlight), but it is great for examining equipment in a network/AV rack! And it is always conveniently attached to my lanyard!! It isn’t heavy, so it is almost undetectable (for me) but is always close by. This ain’t a good handheld flashlight, so it has its purpose. But it works great - been using it for a year and it is solid!
I use the existing clip and attach it to a belt loop by the front pockets. I partially pull on it to illuminate areas in front of me. It's best for up close when you need a little bit of light.
Also if you're going to be comparing light's to each other, best to lock your camera exposure settings, to better accurately show the brightness. That way your camera doesn't automatically adjust to the current lighting exposure
i put mine on a necklace so it is always in reach and use it for moments when say i drop something in my car when i go on my 1:00 am lunch break and don't want to blind myself and i tend to find myself when i use it to either stick it my mouth when doing stuff with my hands or attach it to something close by or if i am holding something in my hands like my knife, zippo, pen or even my phone i will attach it to those instead of use my phones light since i wanted a small light to save battery on my phone
I don’t hate the light and it doesn’t claim to be anything more than what it is. I just don’t think it is a $20 light even when compared to other Olights.
Thanks for the comment Aaron. I know it’s only $20. I just think there are better lights in the market at that price. That is just 1 opinion. I know it won’t be how everyone feels.
yeah its over priced, should be less than 10 bucks. Companies give out USB flashdrives, pens, lights, ,ect all the time. The cost on such a simple gadget to produce and make are quite low.
Fenix e01 v2 15$ takes 1 aaa battery that you can find just about anywhere and has long runtimes along with a 100 lumen max output...vs 20$ for a proprietary light where if the charging base gets damaged your screwed and developes flickering issues and quality control problems....hmm i'll take the fenix or if i wanted to go cheaper the i3e sorry but the price the imini2 isn't justifiable for how overpriced it is for how few features..plus built in battery that can't be replaced...big problem with that cause it locks you into an arbitrary warranty just to replace a battery.
I don't know why you felt the need to make a 9 minute video, dogging the iMini 2, but I had to give that video a thumbs down. 👎🏻 I have a BUNCH of flashlights and the iMini 2 is my most used light. Granted, my use for it is a bit unique to my situation, but it still has many handy uses. I use it to get my mail at night from a communal mailbox and I attach it to the lock hardware on the backside of the door and it shines right into the mail slot. It's perfect for me and I love it. By the way, the only Olight I've ever returned, is the Oclip. It's definitely not worth $30.
I disagree, but i guess it depends on your usage.... but i bought these for my crew at work last xmas and they all love them. for facility maintenance they are awesome.
this is a well made beautifully done flashlight. why are you giving this a bad review? bad review of the review guys...get this light...its really a good idea and well made
I have a couple around the house in places that need light but don't have a hardwired light that reaches. Not something I'd carry on a keychain (I have a keybar), but great for around the house.
Mine is clipped to my pry bar as a backup and unnoticeable in pocket. Good little light that isn’t meant to be for large tasks I’m a plumber and it works great for looking down cleanouts and under cabinets. Got mine for between $12-$15 in bundle deals
Hi. I just ordered it for my mother, for her keyring. i bought her a Nitecore Tini, a Nitecore Thumb then a LedlenserK4R. All 3 not proper for the job! Tini and Ledlenser activate too easy, i tried them on my keyring after my mom told me, the Thumb sometimes dont start if 1st i dont press the butyon for red light! Imini2 will be perfect, cant start by itself and being magnetic she can put it to the metal frame of the door to luminate the lock! She rejected an Olight i5 StarDust cause the switch is hard to press. And it is!
I love this thing! I needed a small rechargeable key chain flashlight and this one ticked all the boxes for me. I actually prefer the beam pattern that it floods rather than throws becuae I’m an inspector and need such flashlights for inspections. This is a “in a pinch” flash light so I don’t need it be the best I already have that in my backpack/work pouch .
Totally worth the $20! I would pay twice that much for the novelty and great engineering of this light. If you like flashlights, get one of these things. The only negative thing, is that you can’t replace the battery yourself. At least, for most people like me.
A guy doing a review, degrading a simple flashlight while his backyard shed is sitting on broken bricks get absolutely no respect from me. This imini2 light has its place and it's perfect for that. Perfect to clip on a jacket or vest zipper. Hassle free charging to illuminate well enough for its intended purpose. I 100% love this little fella. Works great. I have many other lights that I use for their intended purpose as well. Would grab this light to run out in a blizzard on a storm work call? No. Or my only light on a weekend back pack trip? No. It has its purpose and is fantastic for what's its intended for. Maybe the reviewer should worry more about his foundation than dumping on a simple light😂😅
It is not meant to have a long throw it is meant to be used in a small location working in a small dark space. You seem to be being intentionally ignorant. It's like saying that a pocket knife is not the best thing to chop down down a tree. All modern vehicles have a USB socket.
Bought one for myself a few months ago and loved it so much i bought one for all my friends as stocking stuffers. If you have keys on a keychain and used it as advertised perhaps you'd see how useful of a tool it is. Seems like you didnt give it a fair shot and just based your review on your initial thoughts.
I absolutely love this. I work HVAC and electrical, I can keep it on my key ring and pull it off the magnet and mount it anywhere I need to while I’m doing work.
This has been great for me just working on small equipment right spaces you can just stick the magnet onto any surface any of my other lights won't even fit it is awesome and the magnetic is super strong. Only worry about longevity is the same issue I have with my phone charger is when it's magnetic and closed space any metallic dust gets in there and I worry about shorting the circuit
Love mine, it’s not really meant for intensity or throw, it’s a quick handy detachable light. Pull it out of its holder out of my pocket and put it right back, that magnetic base does most of the work.
How does anyone expect more than 50 lumens from a keychain flashlight? A keychain light is small and is meant to help in tight quarters. The light is used to look for keys and does this job great. There is nothing wrong with this light. It is fantastic and does the job magnificently.
I’m gonna defend the light. I keep it clipped to my jacket zipper and only use it as a backup light. When I go out for a night walk, I’m carrying a brighter light. For its small size, the mini2 is a good light for when you drop something or just need a quick light to see wheee you are walking.
Your tone for this entire review just sounds like you are bitter about the mini for some reason 😂. When something is called a “mini”, it’s considered a mini versus another size of the same brand. You don’t compare mini to another brand. Also, it’s half the size if not smaller than either of the other lights you showed when you take it off the magnet ring so what’s the issue? Yeah the # of lumens is lower on paper but from a visual comparison it’s not that much of a different sooo…
Indeed, this light isn't for walking around in the dark. I can find a use-case scenario for it. I play nighttime airsoft, and I might just need a little light like this one to switch my MAWL C1 from white to IR light before or during a game.
The magnet is the important difference. Plus if you have a light on your key chain but the keys are in something you have to take it off. This light has its place. I work in IT and the magnet is great for hands free.
It doesn't appear that you appreciate the pro's of this light or understand the point of it. The i3e is brighter, especially with a 10440 lithium battery in it (it voids the warranty), but it basically requires two hands to operate. You can rig it for one hand use, but it's not ideal. The imini 2 is a quick access key chain light that is great for one handed operation and it has a magnet on the back of it, so you can stick it to metal if you need or want to. Olight also has monthly flash sales etc.. so it may be discounted at some point in the future. If your keys are on your belt or if the light is on a lanyard or zipper etc.. it's a very handy light in many situations and it won't break the bank. Also, even though it's only 50 lumens, this light would work in a pinch for a late night (or early morning) dog walk.
I would wear it around my neck. I used to carry a neck knife as a back up, but found I rarely used it. This light I can see using. Sometimes I just need a little light so pulling out my 800 lumens flashlight most of the time is overkill and my back up is attached to my keys which I have to grab from my jacket pocket anyways. Plus I have to twist it to turn it on. With this little guy I can just grab, pull, light, done. Very convenient.
I don't actually carry mine, I leave it plugged into the USB-A port in my car's center console. It basically serves as a docked flashlight, always fully charged, always reachable, no switches or buttons. Pull it and it's on. There is no better flashlight on the market for this purpose. There are dozens of clever applications for a light with this unique form factor and feature set, all you need is a little imagination.
Love this light...i hav we it attached to my Iron Infidel water bottle. I always have this bottle.with me so now i always have a readily accessible light for what ever I need.
I have the mini and love it. Every Olight has its application. I am a surgical nurse and some surgeries require dim lighting. It is not big and bulky and the magnet is a plus when I need to free up my hands and make adjustments to equipment when the room is pretty dark. I am not trying to use this light in a dark forrest. I have other Olights for that.
I love the imini, it fits in my wallet. I usually also carry an Arkfield with the uv, so the imini is a great backup, its small and easy to hold in your mouth ....if you want to do that, and the magnetic base is fairly handy. I got this as a gift so Im not sure the cost but if its reasonable it a good little flashlight.
I love mine it's on my keys. If I need a little more I have my i3t plus in my back pocket. Or my warrior turbo in the car. If you dislike your little key chain light send it to me 😊
New viewer here so please don't take this is a rag on your video, as i actually enjoyed watching it. That said, I LOVE my Imini2. I literally wear it around my neck. Its on my necklace and pretty much sits there 24/7. i take it off to charge. I also feel like i should mention I bought mine on sale for like $15. It is my most used flashlight because its the one on me at all times lol. I even have a piece of electrical tape around it so i can tooth it better xD I definitely agree though that If you're out to purchase a heavy use, or good edc light, i would throw down some extra ducats to a better suited light. Not everyone is going to latch this and definitely not gonna wear it everyday lol.
There's an USB port doing nothing in the console of my car, so this might be a good flashlight to have sitting in the USB port. I wouldn't keep a flashlight in my car during the 100+ degree heat in my region, but that's only the summer. Also, there's an USB port near my desk, and sometimes I need a flashlight at my desk to find what I dropped.
It’s not always about lumens. As a reviewer, you should think of useful applications for it. Also consider.. what makes it unique? Instant light once it’s pulled out of the slot, and it has a magnetic base. I have a classic truck, non existent interior lights. I have my mini attached to my keychain, no buttons, nothing, instant light once I pull it from the keys. Lightweight, magnetic base, easy to turn on, very useful as a work light in tight spaces as well, used it repairing a leak under the sink.
I actually agree, if I had to choose I'd pick the nitecore tini 2 anyday. 500 lumens, USB c rechargeable and amazing runtimes. The olight mini 2 is good but for 50 lumens with very low run times id just get the tini 2.
I would totally buy it, I carry keys daily to work and always thought what if there's an emergency and lights cut out on the wearhouse, I already have the other olight that you twist to turn it on but it's difficult to twist and turn it on and if it's an emergency I'm thinking it would be harder to do it. This would totally be easy to just grab it disconnect it and boom light turns on ...I don't care if it's less Lumens, the point is to get it quick and turn it on and be able to use it and walk in a emergency so this has its place I would not carry the others around because I would lose it fast because I'm constantly taking my keys out to cut boxes and I always make my pen or other small things fall out of my pockets so this is a super good thing for my use. I also always need a magnetic base light so I can use it quick in a hands free situation like stuck in place where I need both hands to work with and can attach it to a metal surface....I can see my self using it for so many things.
I have 6 Olight flashlights. I love them all. Not sure why you dislike it so much. You consider it a fidget toy?lol😅 It's not that small? 😆 Maybe try thinking outside the box? This is the most hair splitting review I've ever seen. $20 is pocket change. Stop being so negative. It's great for what it is.
Sorry this does not work for you, but I use this light on a daily basis. I'm a truck driver and use this constantly checking my load inside my trailer. Able to pop it on and off constantly one handed and the magnet on it is very strong, so I have never worried about losing it. It is the right tool for the job for me.
He's like allergic to the imini 😅 I've been carrying this for a month now main for light up door handles car doors and anything that need a little lumination, this guy went to the wood and expect to light up the night 😅
I want to buy this light. I was looking at them on the website. Came here for reviews. Thank you, you have convinced be to go ahead and buy it. 1, it’s only 15 bucks. 2. This video should have been titled Reasons I shouldn’t have bought this light. You are too picky. It is what it is, and it’s fidgety. Sounds like a win to me. Thanks!
Thanks for your comment. Glad I could help give you an overview of the light and I hope you really like it. You clearly agreed that it is not worth $20 because you waited until it was on sale to buy it and they are again giving away the i1R 2 for free in that same sale (or $5 if you just pay shipping), which I think it is a better light. That was really my point. Just letting you know my thoughts on it and not everyone will agree.
@@YourEverydayGear i didn’t wait to buy it. I had only heard of it 2 days ago, watching a blade show video. Someone had one on a key chain, I remembered it yesterday and looked it up. Then came to TH-cam to see it in someone’s hand. Your video convinced me. Anyway, where’s this sale? I’ll surely take a send light for 5 more bucks!
Always enjoy a spicier review lol. I was interested in this light for its novelty mostly, but keep putting off buying one. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on it
Ha. Well if you were going to buy one and good with a pink one, they are doing a breast cancer charity event on them right now. Thanks for your comment.
Did I know there would be people that disagreed? Of course, but it doesn’t mean it wasn’t an honest opinion. I stand by the fact that I don’t think it is worth $20 but if somebody wants the light or has purchased it and loves it . . . that’s great.
Actually, I think you are saying that it is a bit pricey because you need to buy an extra. One, or more, to clip to whatever, and a spare one to keep charged so you can substitute the head of the flashlight into the rotation without forgetting to reclip the body. LOL. 🤣 Hmmm....maybe you on are to something. If one hardly ever needs to unclip to charge, one could hook it very closely. One other good point, how much fun you were having making this video. 🙃You only need one extra per household to open up all types of possibilities. 😉 As for cons, I'm not sure you mentioned that one may not be able to substitute out the battery, so once it finally wears out in a few years, you might have very little left of value. By that time, I imagine there will be something one wants more anyway, so in this price range it is not a big concern of mine. I like the instant on or off feature. It would be nice, addressing one of your points, if it had a five or so lumen mode and a 50 that one could adjust, yet stil have the instant on feature. In other words, set the level you generally prefer and that is when one gets when one pulls it out. So, one would still have instant light, but the lumen level could be adjusted, if one desired, by twisting the base of the light itself. Since I generally have a small EDC light anyway, such as a Perun 2 Mini, I do not really need more functionality. The iMini2 is just for a bit of quick light for me, either on a Ti ball chain, or on the pouch in which I keep my keychain. I am pleased with it. I lked it enough to buy one for my wife's keychain. I could also see one clipped to a bag/purse to quickly locate something in the bag/purse...such as those keys. Since the head is so small, with a strong magnet, one can mount it almost anywhere ferrous, say a ferrous wallboard corner bead, a wallplate screw, etc. I have stuck it to my bathroom cup and the other night I needed a bit of light and stuck it to a guitar I had hanging on the wall. Yeah, no power outage, I could have flipped on the light, but I was having fun...as you said, a good fidget toy. If it wears out, I'll at least have a good magnet. 😁
P.S. If I really needed a flashlight, as opposed to just a supplemental light, I do agree that the Oclip and i3E EOS might be more practical. I like the i3 E EOS especially after they began using double O-rings on them. The i3E weighs so little that I may try to spread them around more for travel*, such as in our car or the one in my Dopp bag. [*as opposed to the ones I have spread around as gifts] Since most of my lights use batteries that are harder to obtain or are integral (such as the Oclip), it is nice to have one you can drop a commonly available alkaleak into it if you are in a situation where you need more light. The one in my Dopp bag has a hybrid battery in it, either an eneloop or the Ikea equivalent. In the car, I might consider packing the battery separately, either a hybrid battery or an Energizer lithium primary battery. I avoid using alkaleaks as I have lost more electronics using those, including flashlights. In returning to add this comment, I realized that one of my i3E flashlights had the included alkaleak, oh the horror, which I will now sub out. The other night I was using my Perun 2 mini headlamp and realized the battery level indicator was red so I dropped it on the charger and just for experimental purposes tried, after turning the headband so the holder was on the side, using a Baton flashlight. It worked but was less than ideal. Then I tried the right angle Oclip with the holder returned to the front. I found that the corner of the light fit into the clip recess and provided a very good angle for use as a headlamp, although no longer had the flexibility of rotation. I really like that little Oclip.
You can do alot with "only 50 lumens." Its a keychain light. Not an EDC light that you're carrying in your pocket all the time. 👎🏻 not a good reason at all to not buy one. You're going to need better content than this to grow your channel. An honest opinion is better than a fake one.
My point was not that 50 lumens is no lumens. It was that your phone flashlight has 50 lumens and for me it falls in a weird spot because even Olight makes a better output keychain lights for a lower price and the same size (i3E or i1r 2). Thank you though, for your opinion that my opinion isn’t a real one.
These lights will have issues over time the build quality isn't going to last with that magnet snapping so hard. I got one off Tiktok shop a week ago and got it yesterday and im noticing flickering/loose connection when using that magnet part because it keeps snapping so hard and the light even when slightly tapping on it will flicker and have loose connection. Could be mine defective. I did message Olight CS and they are sending me another replacement. Just beware this can happen to you
@@cosmo742 got one for free and the flickering issue developed in less then 2 weeks won't carry or use a light if it isn't reliable and olight has failed me more then one time everything from bad tail switch, 18650 that just stopped charging outright, rcr123 from olight stopped charging outright won't even charge on their magnetic base, one had a parasitic draw and drained its battery in under 2 weeks, the only olights that have worked for me have been the i3e cause how can they screw up a twist on twist off light..time will tell.
I use this it’s ideal to have clipped inside your bag so if you need to find something you can just grab the torch and put it back when you’re done plus the usb charger is awesome just being able to plug it into anything to charge
1 billion percent disagree with you. I have the gen one and it stays on a lanyard around my neck at all times. this is by fart my fav Olight and have over 50 of them. People don't listen to this review buy these up in bulk and make sure every one in your family carries one at all times
Could not disagree with you more-I use this constantly all day long. I clip this to my front belt loop and whenever I need an area light, I pop it out for a minute. It weighs so little I can pop it in my mouth for an improvised headlamp (yep, I'm one of those mouth light guys). No pressing and holding, double pressing, any of that crap. Just pop it out and it's on, snap it back in and it's off.
Good points you make but I really like mine. I wear it on a small neck ball chain, so as to always have a light with me. I have a small Victorinox compact knife in my 5th jean pocket. These 2 items are very minimal carry and granted not the best light or knife one can carry, but not too bulky, either.
Well... at first it is quite useless to do a light comparison, if you have auto exposure set to "on" in your camera. If you want to compare, you need manual adjustment, otherwise you can't tell differences. Second, I'm with you that the iMini 2 is too large in size. That's why I'm a fan of the iMini 1st generation. It is not rechargable but has 3 mini batteries in it which last very long. This is the most perfect keyring light I've ever had.
So if you would have bought a diffrent light you would have gotten the mini for free , im not gonna complain over a free light let alone a 20 dollar light
Yikes. Did you ever step in it with this review! Pretty much everyone here sees how the build quality, innovative design, coolness factor, and versatility make this mini light so worth its very reasonable price. But not you. You hyper-focused on the most irrelevant details and misunderstood this light’s intended purpose (many of which being cited in the comments). The 50 lumens is actually quite powerful … and this tool is also a great fidget toy.
dude is bashing this light becuase he doesnt have the self control to not fiddle with it. bro its a great light. everything you described is a you issue.
Literally the only person I know that doesn’t like it.
He's trying to grow the channel, so a little of clickbait and controversial statement don't hurt, or?
Thanks just bought one. I keep it on my keys.
I Carry my mini in my bag. Attached to a zipper pull inside top of the bag to help me find things in low light. 👍
I was thinking I would just have it always plugged into a usb port in my car’s armrest but I like your spot. Might steal that.
I’ve had mine since it came out, I love it. I could see why you don’t but I also carry two big lights, and I have the I3e I do want to get the Oclip
I don’t hate the light and it doesn’t claim to be anything more than what it is. I just don’t think it is a $20 light even when compared to other Olights.
I like it. I'm gonna buy one
Bro, it’s $20!! Don’t think that should be your reason to complain. The light itself is pretty functional and is definitely worth $20.
Thanks for the comment Aaron. I know it’s only $20. I just think there are better lights in the market at that price. That is just 1 opinion. I know it won’t be how everyone feels.
Leave price out of the equation and its functionality is top notch.
yeah its over priced, should be less than 10 bucks.
I agree it's not worth the $20 dollar price tag but it is a nice convenient light.
I bought and I got em on my keychains I love it … for the size it’s good and I’d rather hold that than my phone for light
I leave mine plugged in a USB port in my truck is perfect for looking for stuff inside the truck or checking out things on back of the truck.
That is exactly where I figured mine would end up. One of those “there if you need it” kind of things.
@YourEverydayGear I have practically every o light made so I have at least 3 different range lights in my truck at all times. 😁
I LOVE mine! Use it constantly. They’re fantastic.
Seen this bought it love it nuff said
I love my Imini 2 on my keychain every where I go.
Mine is clipped to my pry bar as a backup and unnoticeable in pocket.
Good little light that isn’t meant to be for large tasks
I’m a plumber and it works great for looking down cleanouts and under cabinets.
Hahaha thanks man. I’ll get right on that for ya.
The best "zipper pull" light on the market. By far. So easy to use and to charge. Some people just hate to hate to get the views.
Just got 1 and I love it
Love mine, it’s not really meant for intensity or throw, it’s a quick handy detachable light. Pull it out of its holder out of my pocket and put it right back, that magnetic base does most of the work.
What is the battery life run time?
Yeah, I like it. I love having a little light accessible on my key ring. Good video.
That little light can illuminate a room in a prince. The fact that it's magnetic serves multiple purposes.
It's not meant to throw light duhhhhh. It's for a quick close reference. The quick release with strong magnet is key.
I even have a piece of electrical tape around it so i can tooth it better xD
I definitely agree though that If you're out to purchase a heavy use, or good edc light, i would throw down some extra ducats to a better suited light. Not everyone is going to latch this and definitely not gonna wear it everyday lol.
I love the imini 2.. great pocket, keychain or whatever light.
There's an USB port doing nothing in the console of my car, so this might be a good flashlight to have sitting in the USB port.
I wouldn't keep a flashlight in my car during the 100+ degree heat in my region, but that's only the summer. Also, there's an
USB port near my desk, and sometimes I need a flashlight at my desk to find what I dropped.
I also always need a magnetic base light so I can use it quick in a hands free situation like stuck in place where I need both hands to work with and can attach it to a metal surface....I can see my self using it for so many things.
i mini 2 is a great fidget kinda light and it’s a fun gift maybe for kids or wife
@@YourEverydayGear I found the sale. Thanks for the heads up!!
@@nickwing1642 Olightstore.com is doing a Black Friday sale and gives you a free gift light.
Bad mouthing an excellent mini flashlight..
I like it than the 1st one
- you did exactly what you intended to do. You made a shoot video on something, knowing that people wouldn't agree.
Did I know there would be people that disagreed? Of course, but it doesn’t mean it wasn’t an honest opinion. I stand by the fact that I don’t think it is worth $20 but if somebody wants the light or has purchased it and loves it . . . that’s great.
@@YourEverydayGear - 😄
Bro you take yourself way too seriously, it’s a keychain flashlight! People the imini 2 dope!
I’d call it an instant gratification light. It’s biggest usp. Wish it would have been a total flooder in Ti.
I disagree with your review. The imini2 has been super useful for my EDC.
As for cons, I'm not sure you mentioned that one may not be able to substitute out the battery, so once it finally wears out in a few years, you might have very little left of value.
This video is hilarious.
AA/14500 or 18650 for me.
It's perfect to hold with your teeth when you're in a pinch in the dark.
Don't spend 20 bucks on this flashlight go spend 10 bucks on another flashlight $7 on a magnet and then glue your magnet to your flashlight
I got the I3 EOS for free! In orange with Skulls on it things great!
Great light You don’t understand what the light is for.
I like the original iMini, just sucks it uses those small watch batteries
Cos you’re not sponsored
Could not disagree with you more-I use this constantly all day long. I clip this to my front belt loop and whenever I need an area light, I pop it out for a minute. It weighs so little I can pop it in my mouth for an improvised headlamp (yep, I'm one of those mouth light guys). No pressing and holding, double pressing, any of that crap. Just pop it out and it's on, snap it back in and it's off.
Good points you make but I really like mine. I wear it on a small neck ball chain, so as to always have a light with me. I have a small Victorinox compact knife in my 5th jean pocket. These 2 items are very minimal carry and granted not the best light or knife one can carry, but not too bulky, either.
its ten times the light the imini was originally. your complaints mean nothing.
Thanks for your comment. It is definitely better than the original. It’s just an opinion from one person and people don’t have to agree.
Pretty crappie reason to hate on this flashlight. I think you missed out on the reason for this light
Well... at first it is quite useless to do a light comparison, if you have auto exposure set to "on" in your camera.
You don't need it in your knees
Get a small USB solar panel from Electronic Goldmine. Plug it in and place in the sun. Light …
It is a Keychain light man. It serves the purpose for $20. Cmon.
Keep up the good work too, these are some high-quality videos
I really appreciate the words of encouragement. Still need to work on my rambling at times but it helps to know I’m on the right track.
😂
trippin…50 lumens is more than enough for what its made for, 10x brighter then your phone light, and having that low output is good on battery life
Really like the design but it cost USD 30 in Indonesia 😅
Thanks for an honest negative review. Very rare and consequently very valuable from my perspective.
You missed the point of this light.
You must be a blast at parties. This has got to be one of the worst reviews I’ve ever seen. 👎🏽 thumbs down
🥳 Thanks Fred 👍
WHO FILMS FLASHLIGHT COMPARISON FOOTAGE WITH AUTO ISO ENABLED???!?? 🤦
Ok settle down buddy.......20 buck for an emergency light ? What more do you want ? 15buck for a MacDonald's meal these days .......
Grow up.......
dude is bashing this light becuase he doesnt have the self control to not fiddle with it. bro its a great light. everything you described is a you issue.
My nightcore ec11 same size kicks all there asses.i have a couple of the first I minis on all my folding knife lanyards it's perfect for the end
Glad i watched your video first before buying one for myself since outcase magnetism is a pet peeve for me
