ANTONBLAST is a fast-paced explosive action platformer that's all about destruction. It’s interesting how we’re getting all these great indie tributes to WarioLand, and yet no actual new WarioLand game in over 20 years.

To think that this "clear demand" would guarantee sales of a proper Wario Land revival is absurd, at best the wider gaming community would just not even notice it, at worse they'd write it off as Nintendo trying to copy Pizza Tower.

@beauwalker9820 no. Pizza tower started releasing betas since 2018, summitsphere released antonball (the original anton game) in 2019 and a deluxe version in 2021, and the kickstarter for antonblast was made in 2022. I like both games a lot, but pizza tower did come first.

Beautiful things will exist regardless of if the humans viewing it can understand it. Similar or not there will all be times when beauty is challenged. And this. This is beautiful.
Pizza Tower and Antoblast can co-exist together. Just because Pizza Tower came out first doesn't mean no one else is allowed to make Wario Land-esque games. :/ If anything, I see this as an excellent deal, getting two fantastic wario land-esque games.
The more Wario Land, the better. As someone who grew up on Shake It, and was so sad when Nintendo never made a new entry afterwards, Pizza Tower, AntonBlast, Susan Taxpayer and more are so, so nice to finally have. I've waited fourteen years for Warioland to come back, and it's come back in such a MASSIVE way.
Love how when the title appears and the voices name it, it's a reference to Crash 3's opening when Cortex says the name, then Uka Uka says Warped in an angry tone

And? Why does it matter? Both games are good in their own ways and are both based off Wario Land
they mean to say that this game series has been in development since before Pizza Tower, as the prequel AntonBall released during Pizza Towers' early development. AntonBlast started development when Pizza Tower was in late development.
This game was easily the highlight in the showcase for me, as I love how crazy and hyperactive the game looks and plays. I can't wait to play this game when it comes out.
Funny how there was absolutely none of the whole “OMG THIS IS A CLONE” situation before the trailer came out. I knew about Anton Blast around the same time when the Pizza Tower trailer first came out.

I’d say Pizza tower is mostly based on Wario land 4 with its emphasis on speed but still takes inspirations from other Games in the series. While ANTONBLAST is more inspired off of Virtual Boy Wario land, with of course Happy Hour being based of Wario land 4 and also having more exploration like in the Wario land II.

Each of these games is unique in their own way and the devs have worked really really hard for this.
So, anyone that is complaining and whining about this "not being Pizza Tower"
Just stop it. Neither of these games should be compared just to find out "who is superior" or "who did it first" (which also Pizza Tower didn't, since it just grabbed an old gameplay formula and gave it something of his, to spice things up, which is something Anton is also doing)
Just enjoy both of these games and let the others do the same, without complaining please?
It’s unfortunately hard to not compare them since they’re both trying to be a successor to the same series. However they’re still both great games in their own respective ways

The demo sold me big time. Love the feel of this, and very glad the spirit of "angry man destroys everything in his wake while funny sound effects happen" is coming back lately.

I heard of this game from fan art featuring this game and Pizza Tower. Here's hoping Pizza Tower will be playable on Switch soon. I don't mind double dipping for that game.

It’s also far more expensive even for the cheapest one and doesn’t have nearly as big an install base as the Switch. So no, buying a Steam deck just to play Pizza Tower is not worth it at all and as for playing other Steam games, you know that’s dependent entirely on the model of Steam deck in question, right?

Just got done playing the demo, this game is (no pun intended) A BLAST!! Gameplay is amazing, the use of sound effect is effective and funny, and find the devil funny too, He reminds me so much of Red from Cow & Chicken. This game is a must buy! Can’t wait for it to come out!!

I was a huge fan of Pizza Tower ever since I played the SAGE demo, and played the final release several times + the Noise Update ever since the game came out. I tried the first demo for this game and it definitely feels a lot different than Pizza Tower. These are two really unique (and really fun) games that stand out in both art style and gameplay despite being based off the exact same source material, the Wario Land series. People shouldn’t be giving this game crap just because it’s being released after Pizza Tower.
I was never a big Antonblast fan, but this game just looks amazing and i might just try it when its out.
