Might be easier for her to do toe 1/1 before the van leeuwen rather than connecting it to double double dismount. The same D score but easier to execute.

In the old scoring she scored a 16.1 so I definitely see her scoring a 15.5/15.6 range on that vault.

And that was with a big hip back. Given she probably got the max amount of landing deductions on that one, I imagine that’s the minimum that should be expected for that vault.

@@marsbars2889 I think her coach wanted her to overrate it for her first competition. She has stuck the Vault Multiple Times so that's the lowest I could see her scoring. The Vault at Worlds should have been a 9.8 E but with the judges that won't happen but I can definitely still see a Potential 15.8/15.9 on a great landing.

From current training videos it actually looks like she's keeping the piked Tkatchev and switching out the straddle Tkatchev with a giant full.
Knowing that she's most likely coming back with all her full skills is so exciting, I'm honestly most curious about how her choreography has changed on beam and floor. Her old choreo would get torn apart by today's execution scoring, so I'm curious to see what her coaches have come up with!

@@MariU9 I’m not saying that. I’m sure she can still do it. I just think for now, they’re going with a more conservative approach. Maybe I’m wrong but I don’t think the fabrichnova is in the plan for 2023. I think her team will reassess after worlds, once they see how Simone’s routines stack up against Andrade and Gadirova and Jones (and others). If she wins by a large margin, with her more conservative routines, I doubt we’ll see more upgrades moving into 2024. If the gap is small between her and her nearest rivals (or worst case scenario if she doesn’t win AA at worlds) we could see the fabrichnova and other upgrades for 2024.

Especially with all the doubt surrounding her, and the fact that she got all the way back to the double pike on vault, makes me think that they're planning to go full speed at Worlds and quell any kinds of doubt about her before the Paris season even starts.

I think you’re very much underestimating how good Simone’s E scores are gonna be. She’s not. Getting anything under a 15.5 on vault. She’s gotten above 8.6 E on bars and floor multiple times too so I don’t get the scoring ranges.

Initially I was thinking that maybe the video maker was basing this on the idea that execution scores tend to lower from quad to quad, or that Simone had “lower” E-scores that the recent camp, but overall I think they kind of just choose number lol, especially on vault. No way she’s getting an 8.6-9.0 execution for hit vault.
She’s trained a Shang on bars. I see her doing that over a Hindorff.
I don’t see her doing any side leaps this quad as the requirements are too strict. She has been training a switch split mount which I suspect Simone will connect to a switch 1/2 + back pike.
Simone is not scoring below an 8.2 in execution with a hit routines unless the judges are bought off. Before the scammy scoring of the Tokyo Olympics, Simone was getting 8.3-8.7 execution for hit routines. And not even the over exaggerating of artistry is gonna bring her scores down unless the judges are bought off.

The artistry requirements are pretty specific especially on floor and beam so that could affect her execution score. Her vault execution is usually really high as her vault in the air form is excellent. Whatever the case, it will be exciting to see what happens.

Can you imagine what kind of overall all-around scores this chick would have gotten if she had been competing under the same Code as when Nastia and Shawn Johnson were competing!?
You know... Like when nastya was able to score 17s+ on bars & how Shawn Johnson was pretty much the only all-around gymnast who was competing and consistently landing (although not cleanly even- remember she always took a step or two and crossed one leg in front of the other in one of those steps?) The Amanar vault,; which always gave her a a pretty good-sized jump on the other gymnasts on the competition?!
Also please note I'm not trying to disrespect l either Sean or nastia 😊 or belittle the things that they did when they were competing then I'm just saying according to the code of points back then this would have just been absolutely insane and that was like 15 years ago only- like uhh what would her all-around scores have been... 65s!????

She has been training but just in a relaxed way, probably without pressure, because I see that she lost muscle. If she continues the way she’s doing it, this girl is going to need a crown 👑 instead.
