Taylor likes to use a lot of metaphors and imagery to tell her experiences. And I think growing up in the spotlight/music industry was high school for her since she became famous when she was really young. And yeah like you said Kim acting like a high school bully 🙌🏻

Think of LA/ Hollywood as a “high school” where the society is built around the who’s who and talking behind people’s back. That might help with imagery.
Such a great song!! And now she can lay it to rest. I love how she went back the her country music vibe, cause remember, Taylor was winning as a country artist before they knocked her down. Before Reputation...And yes the high school reference, I believe is just a metaphor for bully behavior like high school. This song is so good and I know a lot of people do not want Taylor to give Kim or Kanye any credit for her fame, but it seems this song needed to give her some resolve. Great reaction as always!!!
