CBC Toronto: Crowned in Curls

At just 15 years old, Aisha Boubacar has published her first children's book. The Toronto teen wrote and illustrated the book "Crowned in Curls" with hopes of helping young Black girls to embrace their natural Afro-textured hair - something she learned to do during the pandemic lockdown.
