LED vs HALOGEN - HS1/H4 motorcycle/scooter bulbs comparison

  • LED or HALOGEN? Let's compare a standart halogen bulb (Philips 35W 1150lm) with two LED bulbs (20W 2000lm and 15W 4000lm).
    Scooter: Yamaha X-Max 125 (2008)

      Thanks. Unfortunately, people are more interested in led bulbs than in classical music. :-) I am going to post more things from my life and also things that can help others.

    Could you tell, can I change a halogen bulb H4 to a led bulb HS1? My motorcycle has a socket H4

      hs1 and h4 are just the same socket, only difference is h4 is for more powerful bulb like car LED bulb which consumes around 36w, whereas hs1 is for bulb with less wattage e.g. 7-8w. you can even use car LED bulb with H4 socket on a bike which uses hs1 socket, only if u don't mind that H4 LEDs consume more power than HS1 LEDs.
