Been doing Helpdesk for 2 years now and still love it as much as when I started, always thought I'd go the network route, but I ended up falling in love with Virtualization. Leaning towards Linux+ these days and I don't even have my A+. This was still pretty neat to watch.
Glad you enjoy what you do. There are so many facets in the IT world and being able to stick the landing on the part of IT you enjoy is such a good feeling, ain't it? Thanks for the kind words!
All I can say that each power supply on the switch has 500+W and they are connected to a big old UPS that is probably heavier than all the switches combined.
@timobrien5998 the more I've been doing it, the more this rings true. I've done each part of this job individually multiple times but doing the whole thing from scratch was a bit new to me when I did this vid. All the same, yeah. Like clockwork.
That satisfying green link light at the end. Ahhh...~
For sure!
Good call!

Great job. I would like to see more videos like this.
We had a bit of a lull but very soon I will be doing more installs.
Nice Video and something I would love to do as a job. That fibre at the end with green 10Gb link was well placed. Good job 😊
Thanks! 👍
So cool great job
Thank you!
Those are nice switches.
Yeah they are
That was fun!
Glad you enjoyed it! More to come down the pipeline.
Stackwise cables are so chonky, nicely done.
They are. Thank you.
thx for sharing. keep it up plz.
You bet
Well done looks amazing, this is the type of stuff i want to get into, what is the job title??
I'm a Junior network engineer
I don't know if i like my stacker cables that tight. Want some fun buy the non L version and get some power stacking cables.😊
I was not a fan either but buying those things was not my choice. Alas, I work with the hand I'm dealt. The full stack pulled up regardless.
hey looking to get into something like this. What is your job title?
I as well would like to know.
Junior Network Engineer
I got my degree in IT several years ago. A year and a half ago I got CompTIA A+, and this past October I got Net+.
Excellent work. Where is part 2?
More installs to come. I do have videos of patching a couple of them up.
What kind of power delivery from wall to rack?

ah was curious if it was a single 30 AMP circuit to a UPS then to PDU rail@@exesiv4ce
If you slow it down 4 times you can see his true speed
You wanna see me screw a thing into a thing at 1x speed? Might be bored to death by the 5 minute mark
It seems so easy it's looks like he's playing lego
If you do it enough times you can almost close your eyes while working.

Was expecting a lot more content.
I'm just starting to hit the record button. I'll make more stuff in the near future.
@@exesiv4ce Sounds good. You'll get a lot of views with longer videos.
