Replacing old network switches with newer ones
I already configured the two switches before bringing them to the site. There is a brief cut where the laptop shows up because I was configuring certain network ports (trunk, wireless, printers, etc) and I don't think you guys want to see me just goofing off with a laptop anyway. FYI the link lights came up.just fine and everything works great after the install is completed.

This one will be installed in a later video. I'm prepping it up by installing the brackets, stacking modules, and the power supply cover in this video and connecting it just before I add the configuration.

The switch and the stack were already configured by myself prior to this video. This area of the building has need for another Power-over-Ethernet switch so that is what I am doing here. Hope you enjoy this short video. More to come with different angles.

He would not shut up about getting the Death Nut for months so he finally got it for Christmas. He only made it to #4. He has yet to do #5.
You could have replaced all the cables in less time and made it look cleaner :(
I agree with you. If we had enough of them would have for the whole building. But that was not something we were provided for this project.
Undoing the mess to redo it again with new equipment ? ?? I dont get it ...
I straightened them up as best I could within an alloted time. We were upgrading multiple network closets in a just a day. I'd love to spend more time pulling out the mess entirely and redo the whole thing if I could.
@@exesiv4ce I get it. As much as I want to agree a 1u rackable cable manager would do wonders with little effort.
