@@TaySteph I will happily sub if you do a reaction to Steve Vai - Whispering A Prayer, particularly this one as it shows just how masterful he is with a guitar Steve Vai Incredible “Whispering A Prayer“ New York 2016 This man can bring a note back from the dead and hold it for eternity while using one hand while doing so. Much love from the far north (Kaitaia) of New Zealand! ❤
One day, after you have gone far along your musical journey, I think you will reach the conclusion that today you witnessed perhaps the greatest live rock music performance by one band ever. Certainly you just heard the greatest electric guitar solo. The longer you live your lives the more you will grow to love this band. They are different from all the others. Thank you for your reaction.
If you want to see the guys back in the day when they first found the Pink Floyd sound Pink Floyd - "Echoes" Live at Pompeii 1972 th-cam.com/video/LxksRFZacJI/w-d-xo.html And you get to see the guys play in an ancient Roman Amphitheatre with No Audience!
Nice reaction. Imagine all of that sound filling an arena, or a stadium. I was lucky enough to see this tour in both places, and it felt like a religious experience. If you like this, try Sorrow from the same tour.
I’m jealous!! I’ve loved Pink Floyd since 1973.. Dark Side has been the soundtrack of my life!! They were in my neck of the woods in 94 but having little ones I couldn’t go…. A huge regret! I have the DVD though.
I have seen nearly 200 concerts if not more. This is the one that blew me away as we were right in the middle of it all. When the Disco Ball came out of the ceiling……WHAT!!! IS THAT was too cool. At the end of David’s solo the lights went out and everyone was in shock at what we just witnessed.
Trippin while listening to Floyd especially this song takes you to another dimension. There are detail in the music that psychedelics bring out, everything just comes together into a beautiful masterpiece
Yep, been there, done that, the first 2 times we saw Floyd in the 70s we were tripping on blotter acid and vividly remember both shows, the best I ever saw, every time I saw them. 🎵
if u wanna hear him produce more guitar magic, try a few other songs from this Pulse concert. songs like "sorrow" "run like hell" . to be honest, almost every song has a killer solo. nice reaction. what u just heard is regarded as one of the best live solos, of all time.
First rule when reacting to Pink Floyd(which you didn't break👍) Never pause during a Gilmour guitar solo. Second Rule keep your eyes on the performance. Pink Floyd is a Visual as well a Musical experience. The lights and music, are Highly synchronized to amplify and magnify the emotions in the song. Great Reaction!
I saw this same show in N.Y. 1994. The concert brochure said the stage is 120 feet wide. It takes a crew of 60 technicians three days to set up the entire lights and all. The concert schedule required that there had to be three entire crews to keep up. They leap frogged each other for 92 shows with 20 Trucks per crew and a total staff of 195. The tour cost the promoters $98.MILLION to put on, but the total profit was $260 MILLION… I have seen Pink Floyd 4 times. Nick Mason’s drumming is incredible and matches Gilmour’s guitar emotions while Richard Wright takes us on a Magic Carpet Ride of tones that form the foundation of it all.
There are 3 members of Pink Floyd from the 1960s performing in this song, each of them close to 50 years old. The light show looks futuristic by today’s standards, yet it was 27 years ago.
I was there the night this was recorded. Also seen the show 6 weeks earlier in Rotterdam. Those gigs will live with me till my dying day. Very very special.
Nice work guys, you didn’t talk over the second solo and f@ck it up like most TH-cam reaction video guys do. That gets you big respect. A David Gilmore solo is a moment of being plugged into the divine. The rock gods thank you for treating it with respect.
For having attended this show two nights in a row at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal, I have never had any regrets. The first night, after this performance, I thought I had seen it all. But the two songs of the encore remained, (Hey You + Run Like Hell). Pink Floyd had not finished wowing our eyes and ears. Run Like Hell would certainly deserve a reaction from you. See you next time.
I met David Gilmour in 1984 back stage at a concert in Hollywood Calif. He gave me a signed album that I have in my music room. We talked for 22 minutes. I called him…“The Master Of The Stratocaster” He smiled. I asked if I could shake both his hands that make such great guitar solos, he smiled bigger and said “Sure” and shook both hands at the same time, making a cross between us, I smiled HUGE. I asked him to describe his technique of playing guitar, he replied… “I strike a note, bend it, shake it and then release it”…. Yes, he does that quite well, better than any other guitarist I know
As a bass player,I have a special appreciation for guitarists that can give a song that" something" it needs to be epic...your reactions show much love and true enjoyment! 😀🎸🖖✈L L A P
Great video and great song! After all, the whole "Pulse" concert is famous. A word of advice: make sure you use headphones when listening to Pink Floyd. You won't miss the small but important details...
@@TaySteph Great! Be sure they are good closed-back ones (to avoid feedback), like Audio Tecnica ATH-40s or -50s which are great values and vastly better than Beats or other bling headphones. They can be fitted with headset mics which are ideal for this work.

Pink Floyd is great, I was at this concert in London; I was stationed in Iceland while I was in the service and got tickets to this concert, unbelievable to be there in person
Was lucky enough to see them at Clemson in South Carolina in 94. I watch these videos so I can see people react the same way I did when I was there. I've been to a lot of concerts but I've only had one experience. Still gives me chills all these years later. They're supposed to release an updated version of Pulse in a few weeks? Remix? Remaster? Not sure. But I will be acquiring it. 😁
That whole concert is worth a view. I saw that tour in Foxboro MA and thought the whole football stadium was going to take off and fly into space, they were that good and so intense. Musicians like these are legendary for good reason. Try their performance at Pompeii in the ruins in the early 70s. Try the 2 part Echoes, it started and ended the film for that event, which is why it is in 2 parts. Watch them back to back for an experience like no other. Enjoy! 🎸
That’s my favorite guitar solo of all time and my favorite guitarist. It’s David Gilmour. I called him the soul tickler when it comes to how he plays guitar.
This is a miracle! And that's just the light show! Don't even go there with that solo. It's sooo beyond description there is really no point in even trying to explain it. Devilry at work! How can anyone produce something that utterly incredible. Well, I quess only Dave Gilmour. Genius.
I was there and yes, it was life changing. I was offered crazy money to give my ticket away but it would’ve taken 100,000 easily. No concert will ever be greater. You would also love the full concert of pulse. Although the original of great gig in the sky is legendary, the concert version is also very good.
So glad you decided to watch this live version of Comfortably Numb Want more epic guitar playing from David Gilmour then I suggest the song Sorrow from the same concert
"1994" their last concert set the bar for the future after 14 days of sold out shows. 200 ton stage, 200,000 watts of power, 128 wireless speakers all around. What any song on this concert, " Sorrow"***** " run like hell" , " high hopes", " keep talking" " on the turning away". all ***************
This band is the epitome of original rock when musicians wrote their own songs, had their own sound and were able to reach an audience from 8-80 years old even decades later. Originality of music has been lost to boy bands, record labels and auto tune.
Super to see you liked it. I enjoyed the show four times. All highlights of my life; never to forget. Advise: for all the next music reaction tot PF, i would highly recomment haes ofr earphones. Otherwise you are going to miss lots of special effects and sounds. Have fun!

Back then, Pink Floyd filled the Earls Court seven times within 14 days always with a day off to check the gigantic equipment and I saw this concert 1994 in Cologne's soccer stadium, together with 75.000 fans. With my 60 years now I have been to dozens of partly very big concert events but what I was able to experience in Cologne has beaten everything. At that time a good friend of mine lived about 500m as the crow flies from the stadium and could see the arena directly from his balcony. He later told me , when the block with the encores: Wish you where here, Comfortably Numb and especially Run like hell - th-cam.com/video/0dB6MQlFLu8/w-d-xo.html - was played, the whole stadium looked from the outside like the colorful glittering spaceship at the end of Spielberg's "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" after landing, because the light show could of course be seen from the outside through the distances between lower, middle and upper stand . After nearly 2 hours of watching and hearing it was clear to me that there is probably no more or better. And of course the overall experience of light and sound is inextricably linked. For example, when the sphere was still closed, it rotated and turned the stadium into a huge disco by the spotlights directed at it. When it opened, lasers were directed at it from various positions, reflected by the mirrors on it, which in turn were reflected back by mirrors fixed around the stadium roof and other mirrors distributed around the stadium near the ground, creating indescribable effects, while at the same time the spotlights on stage produced a light orgy beyond compare ! You can't see this lasers on the concert video because they made these setups only in stadiums and really must have been there because it's literally indescribable ! In the preannouncement of the concert it was promised that, regardless of where one´s position in the stadium is, listen to at least stereo if not even quatro. They implemented this advertising promise in such a comprehensive and impressive way that I will never forget this bombastic sound experience together with this indescribable light show. And to this day, when I hear "Comfortably Numb", especially during this inconceivable guitar solo i get goose bumps all over my body and it leads me to another dimension - EVERYTIME❗ Many wonder how the name "Comfortably Numb" came about. David Gilmore had injured his back shortly before a concert, whereupon a doctor was requested. He gave him an injection against the pain and something to relax the muscles. After the injection, he suddenly felt exactly the way he had felt as a child when he was sick. His hands felt like two filled balloons and overall he felt very very pleasantly dizzy after getting medicine. The problem was that with this feeling in his head and of course in his hands, he had to go on stage to play a concert. What can we say, the man is a professional and still rocked it out 👍

One of the greatest “guitar solos” ever laid down Another “epic performance” In The Air (First Farewell Tour) Phil Collins That one and on that night it amazing! Watch it! ✌️🎶
If you like the light show part of the concerts, you should really check out Trans-Siberian Orchestra. They play mostly Christmas music. In fact, they only tour during the Christmas season, but they put on one heck of an awesome show. Their light show is phenomenal. Keep doin your thing.
Thanks for the feedback! We upgraded our equipment so that everyone could have a better experience! Thanks for watching. Check out our newer videos and let us know if things are better
For something a little different check out Jinjer - Pisces (Live session). You will be visited by the Jinjer army after that but that's a good thing. Don't preview it or look for details of it until after reacting to it......
This was top. The only other concert which I think was good was "Led Zeppelin O2 Celebration Day"...the interesting thing was what they both had in common was that none of them were no longer young, pensioners you could say, but they were excellent (sometimes better)than they were in the 70"s. I couldn't imagine any band present from 20-30 years ago now doing a full concert at this standard. Drake? (No-one will ever beat this 2nd solo ...ever).
🇺🇸👨🏽🦳🙂… Now … Since y’all have seen THIS VIDEO , You MUST see the Song that came After That in This Concert Performance … And the Title of the Grand Finale song , is “ RUN LIKE HELL ! “….. Like I said , it’s the Finale to the P•U•L•S•E performance , 1994 …. 😎… Check it out … Ltr !… 🙂👍🏽👍🏽👊🏽👊🏽👨🏽🦳🇺🇸
So I saw Pink Floyd in concert in the mid 80's. I would LOVE to say it was an awesome concert, but I don't remember much of it. There seemed to be a large cloud of drug smoke over us and well .....

A decent pair of headphones would take the to a whole new level! It’s dramatically better. You’d be surprised.
One of the greatest “guitar solos” ever laid down
Another “epic performance”
In The Air (First Farewell Tour)
Phil Collins
That one and on that night it amazing! Watch it! ✌️🎶
Subscribed. New to your channel so don’t know how far you are on your PF journey but please try Keep Talking from the same concert. It’s awesome
Thanks for the sub fam! Appreciate the love and support!
repeat after me (I will not speak over David's guitars solo)
If you like the light show part of the concerts, you should really check out Trans-Siberian Orchestra. They play mostly Christmas music. In fact, they only tour during the Christmas season, but they put on one heck of an awesome show. Their light show is phenomenal. Keep doin your thing.
Crazy!!!
You wanna see backing vocalists letting loose? From the same pulse concert, the great gig in the sky. th-cam.com/video/vWZ6hmHj2MA/w-d-xo.html
Great reaction. My only suggestion is something needs to be done about the sound quality...especially with Punk Floyd.
New sub 🙋 👏👏👏👏👏
The audio is coming across kind of muted though.. Checking my system.
Good reaction.
Thank you Brian!
Suggestion, whether you’re reacting to an amazing band or just a kid singing, use headsets or earbuds. It will help your reaction 100%.
Thanks for the feedback! We upgraded our equipment so that everyone could have a better experience! Thanks for watching. Check out our newer videos and let us know if things are better
no headphones, no positive or negative comment... wear the F Phones guys....
Drake? (No-one will ever beat this 2nd solo ...ever).
check our run like hell same concert pulse it is amazing
hEY mIKEY i THINK HE LIKES IT

So I saw Pink Floyd in concert in the mid 80's. I would LOVE to say it was an awesome concert, but I don't remember much of it. There seemed to be a large cloud of drug smoke over us and well .....
