The 2024 Lions will have a much improved defense over the 2023 Lions. The Lion's are going to play a tougher schedule in 2024 over 2023. I think their improved defensive will offset the tougher schedule and they will go 12-5 again and win the NFC North.
The resilience of this team, the talent and creativity of this offense, and the much improved defense… along the tougher schedule, I see us going 12-5 again, winning the division again, and making a real SB run.
10 is the lowest win amount I’ve seen predicted by any media. Very odd, they’ve improved drastically in several areas.
This makes no sense at all. Here he talks about how much better they are, and they are. There's almost NO holes in any part of this team and he has them losing two more from last year. I get the fact that every team, no matter how good they are they lose games that you would never expect but majority of the really good teams win and this is an embarrassment to be the speaker of the Locked On broadcast
So has the division and a lot harder schedule. But I do think he's a little low. Probably more like 10-12 wins.

Can always count on Dery for a luke warm, milk toast take LOL. About the only think I agree with is that the Lions havent traditionally played well in Arizona, and that could be a trap game, especially after 2 big rematch wins over LA & TB.
This Lions team is battle tested, focused, & hungry. The roster is one of the best in the league and has better overall depth than last year. Especially on the OL & DB.
The Lions also have the advantage over most teams in regards to coaching.

I have road losses to the Cardinals, Texans, TrashPandas, and Packturds. I really want to see them beat the Texans to quite their hype train but had to find another loss somewhere lol.

My prediction is the same as last year. Anywhere from 10-7 to 13-4
Probably 10-12 Wins. But a tough out in the playoffs. NFC North could be tough this year.
10-7 is a possibility…if the team under performs and/or has critical injuries. I’ll go with 11-6 and bet the over. Winning consistently is hard

I think Chicago is still a year away. They're counting on a lot of new players to mesh and play well together. If they have the coaching staff maybe, but I'm not sure they do.

You're neglecting the enormous effect Terrell Williams will have on our defensive line. With the much-improved secondary Detroit will win at least 12 games which is the amount most popularly predicted.
You have the lions winning all of their home games, and losing all of their away games except one (Minnesota). I don’t think that’s very realistic. I think the lions go 12-5 again. But the defense is such a wildcard this year, that I will fudge it with +/-2. Which means anywhere from 10-7 to 14-3. I hope the defense has it all figured out by the end of the year. Super Bowl, baby!

The Detroit lions need to show me they can keep beating Green Bay and Minnesota in the NFC they also need to beat San Francisco Philadelphia and Seattle in the playoffs to get to the Super Bowl anyone else in the NFC I think they can beat.
Brockers was not integral, what are you talking about. He wasn't good enough to play on a weak d-line. No one was trading for him. Those guys are just saying the right things about him.
Do you realize that just saying another team is tough doesn’t necessarily mean that team is going to beat the Lions. The Lions are one of the top four teams in the league. Be real.

It's hard to win in the NFL. Even if the Lion's end up winning the SB this year, the odds are better they will lose at least 2 if not 3 or 4 games during the regular season. Division games are always tough.
Can't take Arizona over the Lions. I say we beat Dallas, too. The football Gods owe us a win in Dallas. Our run defense is better, and the opposition will have to throw the ball more against a much better secondary.

Sober up, the lions will crush cardinals. You have to think about how strong the secondary is now, a lot of size and heighth on both lines, I see the lions jumping out to a 6-0 start. My question is, how does any team stop the lions, they have a player that can play tight end, defensive tackle, and linebacker, another guy we drafted can play running back, and safety, the lions are going to give other teams coaches headaches, offensive coordinator’s and defensive coordinator’s. How do you stop that, they can’t cover everybody lol, that’s going to give the lions the advantage, I see it, why don’t others see it.
10-7 is not a "Good" football team, that's average 🤷. 10-7 will not win the North.
I put us in the 11-12 win column (wouldn't be surprised with 13 😳), based on the additions to the defensive side of the ball. Secondary was a town hall turnstile 🤦 . Offense will keep on ticking and the defense will get way more stops than last year.

It would be nice and great fun to have a mobile quarterback! But as long as the offensive line stays healthy, Jared Goff is going to SHINE this year. He is the modern day Troy Aikman.

Your 10-7 prediction screams a SOL attitude. You have the Lions losing 7 of 8 road games, 3 of which against teams we played last year on the road (and lost). You have us losing to Indy the week b4 Thanksgiving because we will be "looking ahead". You have us losing to Dallas again, even with a bye to double prepare. And you have us losing to the 49ers in Prime time again, even though we smashed them the first half of the NFC Championship game. You admitted we are a better team and have previously admitted we had a great offseason. PFF giving us an A+ rating. You showed some SOL attitude last year after the Seattle game, and you stink of it in your predictions. It appears you have little to no faith in MCDC and our teams abilities to play up for big games.
