sir NO2 meta directing or NO ortho para directing..how it is possible when both posses more electronegative element..both should be meta directing ...i have confusion plz clarify

NO2 mai N gives away its lone oair to form coordinate bond with oxygen.. Wherein in NO N has one lone pair so through resonating it can donate in ring and activate the ring.
