    So glad to see Sadhguru was invited to Dartmouth. As first class of women at Dartmouth '76, I so appreciate the expansion of knowledge. We are often in life surrounded by those who believe what we believe. To hear another's choices and wisdom challenges me personally and professionally to grow. As I remember Dartmouth and its sense of integrity toward learning, I was taught to acknowledge and consider all points of view, as being the higher calling of man.

    I think you can get most of your spirituality by simply gardening! But I learn a lot from SadhGuru! ;)

    Sadguru always inspires spiritually, philosophically and beyond every thing which nourishes human soul!!!

    Excellent. I love his humor. I love his message. It is congruent with the idea I favor that nothing can impose itself on my sense of Peace, Joy and Love. Oh yes, there are times each day when I notice something ( my ego usually ) tries to drag me to un Peace, un Joy and un Love. The noticing is the beginning of the technical control Sadh talks about.

    Sadhguru is really beautiful!
    For my spiritual path I've also been loving quite a lot of Sri Avinash Do at the moment. #SriAvinashDoTV 💜
    I have found Sri Avinash's videos have made me feel way more peaceful & more caring about others.

    I think many miss Sadhguru's point. God if this is what we name him, her or it is not outside of ourselves. He is the source of our being and can only experience that through personal experience. This can only happen by going inward. The Christ also taught us to pray inside of our own room. "seek and you will find" "knock and the door will be opened unto you."

    I refuse to get into vain argument concerning religion. no one sees the face of God and lives. I am interested in what Sadhguru said because it happened to myself when I asked God to show himself to me so that I might believe. I was 24 yrs old at the time. I am now seventy yrs old and the experience I will stay with me forever. It changed me and how I relate to the world. The Christ is given when we ask with determination.

    i would like to add that it's not shameful to feel angry or be angry. in some situations, if you don't get angry then it is not normal. but at least be aware of what you feel and where the feeling is coming from within u. because by being aware, it will happen less and less. u will begin to manage these things effortlessly with time. it's not about changing the person that made u mad, it's about meditating within urself and fully being aware of how YOU work and why, and how to be more blissful.

  • @LionEntity
    @LionEntity 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    it's not about repressing your anger, that will only create more anger in u and from time to time you'll explode into an anger crisis. it's about understanding the root of the anger and exploring it, only then could u know the mechanics of your inner being and will be able to create an atmosphere which no anger could distabilize. we unconsciously put ourselves in situations that make it inevitable for us to become angry, that's why we think it's impossible. be aware of what moves ur emotions.

    THIS SADGURU CHOOSES HIS WORDS SO CAREFULLY..
    @44.08 HE SAYS "-- If you send him to HEAVEN ,
    there also he is a pleasent human being "
    I think he intentionally said HEAVEN...
    He could've said HELL . But instead he said HEAVEN...
    WONDERFUL...

    • @ShantanuSP
      @ShantanuSP 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Justin Symbiosis Brosey It is not song, it is a Sanskrit chant which is suppose to chanted for asking pardon form Shiva(Divine) for our sins .
      The chant is like this:
      Kara-Caranna Krtam Vaak-Kaaya-Jam Karma-Jam Vaa |Shravanna-Nayana-Jam Vaa Maanasam Va-Aparaadham |Vihitam-Avihitam Vaa Sarvam-Etat-Kssamasva |
      Jaya Jaya Karunna-Abdhe Shrii-Mahaadeva Shambho ||
      Meaning in English :
      1: Whatever Sins have been Committed by Actions Performed by my Hands and Feet, Produced by my Speech andBody, Or my Works,
      2: Produced by my Ears and Eyes, Or Sins Committed by my Mind (i.e. Thoughts),
      3: While Performing Actions which are Prescribed (i.e. duties prescribed by tradition or allotted duties in one's station of life), As Well as All other Actions which are Not explicitly Prescribed (i.e. actions done by self-judgement, by mere habit, without much thinking, unknowingly etc); Please Forgive Them All,
      4: Victory, Victory to You, O Sri Mahadeva Shambho, I Surrender to You, You are an Ocean of Compassion.

    I think kriya yoga means the Christ within. Finding the treasure that Jesus spoke of.

    • @praveenhegdeinfo
      @praveenhegdeinfo 9 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      +Mary Maratty I think you should restrain yourself making such comments...! He did not say Christ was Yogi.. So Making Yoga a Christian Yoga makes it much more condensed like we have condensed the meaning of Yoga to simply excersise!

    • @marymaratty9117
      @marymaratty9117 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It really dose not matter. I thought he said anyone who reaches a pure state of transformation becomes a yogi. That's all.

    • @praveenhegdeinfo
      @praveenhegdeinfo 8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Bharati Vijay Dear Bharati, Even many have praised based on what they know from outer description of Jesus! It should come as a value towards himself and society through experience. I have read bible , but cannot see elivated thoughts other than simple sentences to primitive people of those time in desert. To call somebody a Yogi we need to experience them , not quoting somebody view! which is what also happend in India. As Agni shows its certen properties, Guru and Yogi also show some properties.. Agni is true so its not an illusion n cant be wrong.

      +Praveen Hegde The message is the same as Sadhguru. If you happen to read The gospel of Thomas which has the pure sayings of Jesus you will read elevated thought. Jesus said "know thy self" "the kingdom is within you. many more sayings which can only be understood by those who are experiencing truth for themselves of unity.

    I suppose you are talking about 'vrittis'.appearing in the mind.In theory it sounds good but in practice its a nightmare to separate the vrittis from the 'I'.By the way what has it got to do with the comments i made in relation to sin.It has nothing to do with the vrittis of the mind.

    See to it that no one carries you off as spoil or makes you yourselves captive by his so-called philosophy and intellectualism and vain deceit (idle fancies and plain nonsense), following human tradition (men's ideas of the material rather than the spiritual world), just crude notions following the rudimentary and elemental teachings of the universe and disregarding [the teachings of] Christ (the Messiah). (‭Colossians‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬)

      Christ in us is our only hope of glory! To be reborn spiritually. This is what the Yogi is talking about because it has to be an inner experience where you know personally and not just believing a story.

    • @Yourname3000

      God is real and he loves you, he is the true and living God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Yahweh, the great I AM. Unless you accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior you will never see the face of God. The esoteric mystic in these videos stands condemned. He has denied the true and living God. I pray the number he will drag to damnation is zero.

      +z_german According to your comment their is one almighty living god.and their is a face of god to see.according to buddhism there is no living god..there is just energy...according to islam also god is not living person like...according to hinduism there are 33 crore god and goddess..so i want to know what statement is true and what is false?..all of the above can not be true at the same time..if all are true then god must have regional and religious boundaries..which can not be true.god should be the almighty of everyone.i an really confused...help me.. :-) different religions are saying different things about god.some say god is living and looks like human and some says god is shapeless gathering of energy..since god is the creator of this universe the definition should be same for everyone..you are quite knowledgeable person and i want to learn from you which religion is true about their statement and why? thank you..please give me a reply. i want to learn from you.. :-)

    if he had fooled me than maybe i would be one of his blind followers. I have been to his ashram and attended a few courses but never bought into what he was selling. something was intrigueing and yet something didn't feel right. As I got into it a little deeper it was clearly a cult following. Now in hindsight I can see more clearly the level of deception used. just my experience and opinion
