I visited Goree Island earlier this year and this video took be back. Goree Island and the Door of No Return was excruciating to me . As I looked into the Atlantic Ocean my heart became so heavy. Seeing the rooms where the slaves were kept , was horrible I can never understand how anyone could treat another human being like that. The suffering of the Black man left an indelible mark on me. Thanks for sharing. Amazing video.

Goree Island in Senegal is a Slave FAKERY, made up to collect money. The real Slave History is in Ghana and not Senegal..........................

Senegal is an amazing country. People are nice and have a beach culture. Women are fine and know how to dress. The best way to find women is clubs or be hooked up by a Senegalese person. Make sure to visit LAC ROSE( PINK LAKE), ILES DU SALOUM ( SALOUM ISLANDS) and VILLAGE ARTISANAL( Articrafts ). You need to find someone to hook u up with fine girls. Most of them are shy if they don't know you. I am a Senegalese residing in the USA.

Am glad you’re learning about west African history but it’s interesting how you came to Ghana, one of the most historical places in Africa which pioneered pan Africanism across Africa and started the year of return for all diasporas, also the first country to gain independence in Africa and helped other African countries gain independence and has the biggest slave castle in Africa but you failed to learn about the history. It’s rather unfortunate, however Ghana 🇬🇭 appreciates you for coming. ❤️ You are always welcomed and enjoy your stay in Senegal 🙏🏽

Kenyans stop doing this, stop with the comparisons. Remember it took the 2nd president to help build kenya, it can take another to destroy it and every other African country surpass Us.

At least if he eats the local food he will have a better chance of living longer. Even if i am from the Caribbean i know Africans dont play with food.
Also i stay in France and i see some semblance but Senegal seems to have its own style, a bit french but original. Besides French building mostly have extremely thick walls which isnt good for hot climates.

You need the translating device. You were talking about your allergies but she understood instead that you had a cold (enrhumé). So the medication you got was against cold not allergies. You could have been patient and waited there for someone who speaks/understands English.
