    This is the best EQ tutorial ever. Very straightforward with clear language. All the other instructors use complexe technical words! Thanks for that

    Wow,
    This is one of the most useful tutorials I have ever watched. I understood very well the usefulness of the EQ nobs on our church MG24 Mixer.

    Thanks Kelvin for this video. I've watched many videos and your video explains eq most clearly. I like how you explain a band, then show us what cutting and boosting frequencies are and how to do it. I subscribed because I'd like to learn more from you about audio. Blessings to you!

    Hello, Mr. Kelvin, please can you try to connect the mixing console with amplifier and crossover, and speakers. Because i wish to understand how the Amplifiers and crossovers are being connect to speakers. And also on how to use auxilliarys channels to assign them on different channels from the mixing console to the amplifier to the speakers. Please!!!!

    Hi Kelvin, my god I have seen so many video clips of people explaining this topic, but you my friend have explained it so so well, I just purchased the new Mackie 16fx V3 mixing desk, and i usually keep all control knobs at 12-o-clock position, yes I know this is not correct and I have found last nights gig basically bringing my High up fully to get the crisp vocal in after here, the mic I use is the Beyerdynamic M88tg love thi for its tone and throw, but all the way full with the high is really not good,
    If I angle my 935a rcf top in slightly towards I get the weird feedback shrill interference, puzzled as to what this is,
    for the fx I use number 12 on this desk reverb with slight Delay and my main output is set to unity 00,
    So first off should the button for my vocals cutting be actually on, I'm a baritone vocalist, should I never be touching 12 position on my low, it was explained so well I could see what wave I was getting from you showing the diagram of eq band while at the same time the control knobs on the desk,
    and the image I'm now seeing in relation to my Mackie pro16fx is scary, can you do a little research on this desk and is it as good as it's reviewers give it and how I should be setting my eq,
    Thanks Kelvin, I'm now subscribed to your channel its a credit to you,
    Martin

    • @KelvinEriaganoma
      @KelvinEriaganoma  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You really can’t do that with an analog mixer. The EQ adjustment I made on the mixer and the corresponding graphical illustrations shown in the video, were done differently. I synced them in edit. 😎

      @@KelvinEriaganoma Thanks for the Feedback Sir. My next question is; We use the same console as yours in our church, we find difficulty in recording our live sessions. Do we need an Audio interface or there's a way out.
      2. Whenever we connect a reference headphone we only hear one part that's the Left only

      I used the built-in Parametric EQ from Cakewalk by Bandlab. However, The mixer EQ adjustment and the software adjustment were done differently. I synced them in edit.
