that's pretty scary as I'm currently waiting for Model Y RWD LR. I don't even know when my VIN will be ready. I hope when my VIN is ready, they can approve the financing for me. I spoke to the sales person at Tesla and they said that I might get it delivered around July or August...
My vin popped up almost immediately. But idk how long it will take for them to approve financing

$14,500 for 2020 model 3 w/ 85k miles has acouple of scuffs and a dent and the rear door are kind of not flush right the body .. just a bit. Is this a good deal?

How did the first consumer get .99% interest with 0 down payment? everything I've seen they have shown requires $4,250 down for the promotion
A lot of people have been getting approved for zero down.

I haven't applied yet, but I have a great question that I think a lot of people will ask as well! I will not get a good Trade-In value for my 2021 model 3 currently with Tesla. I would do much better selling the car to an individual. Will this cause a problem in financing, showing that I still currently have a car and debt?
As long as you make payments on time and your debt to income ratio isn’t bad, should be good.
Im waiting on a trade in quote. But when i did my financing it says my down-payment is 18000. Do you know why? Can anyone help.
The $7500 tax credit is applied to the down payment, plus the $250 to order the car is also applied and if you put money down it all ads up together so maybe they are putting what your car is worth plus those 2 things
Some important to remember, we are not just buying cars we are buying specific service centers as well.
I also seen a 2021 model y needs a new battery for $14k but has fsd and supercharging. I was very tempted to buy. What you guys think about this one?
The battery is warrantied for 8 Years or 120k miles. If it's under these conditions, then walk away because it's most likely a salvage rebuilt Y, which is why it needs a new battery.

@gotthat1 ....I personally will never own another Tesla out of warranty again. I had a 2014 Model S until last week. As soon as the warranty expired, I began to have issues.
I think the deal on the 2020 is great. I assume it's a base model, which means when it hits 100k miles, you're out of warranty. I'd factor in the cost of adding an extended warranty and buy it.
How long does it take to hear back from financing ?
We ordered our Tesla model yesterday rear wheel drive long range a week ago and haven’t heard anything yet. We have no idea if we are approved yet.
Mine took a couple hours until it showed I was approved
Took two and a half days for me in December 2023 for a Model Y LR before I received an answer.
I ordered a Model 3 Performance. The approval process was long and strange.

I went it to Tesla yesterday to get a Model Y. Ordered a long range but then decided to pay a little bit extra for the dual motor. I wanted the extra acceleration. The car is already for me to pick up tomorrow. The long range I was told would be up to 6 week wait. Also Tesla gave me a great trade in on my Toyota Camry
Long range is dual motor. I’m assuming you meant Performance model.
@knoxl7 there is long range RWD and long range AWD, RWD has one motor AWD has two
