The way to pick a great artist is the ability to make it look easy, the guy on the alphorn is a genius, how do you get more than one note out of that thing? Another brilliant totally enjoyable creation.
He was great! It works like an army bugle, which also has no valves. Can only hit certain notes (harmonic series, I think it is called). Player adjusts their lip muscles to jump up or down from one note to another. That alphorn shape... cut down a suitable tree growing out of the slope of a hill, which curves for a bit before straightening to grow vertically toward the sun. Hollow it out.

Traditional German and traditional Mexican music are very similar except for the language. Same beats and instruments.
