Dr. Nate and Dr. Christine totally knocked it out of the park with this video, huh? So much valuable info packed in there! Btw, caught your mention of Kriss AI-are you using it too? I'm absolutely loving it! It's like having a dentist best friend!
I had minor gum recession due to needing a frenectomy. The gum in between my two front teeth was pulling on my two front teeth so much that even with braces and Invisalign I couldn’t go even an hour without wearing my retainer because the gap would open up as if I never had orthodontic treatment. However, once I got that piece of gum removed and I healed the gum recession went away :)
The gum comes back at it's own i had tartar on my two botom front teeth i used baking soda and gargle with salt water ,i used this method once a week the tartar come out after 1 month and i had a gum receding on one of teeth i just brushed teeth twice a day everyday and rinse with mouth wash now my gum grows back i never visired a dentist .
Do not use an electric toothbrush, that's what caused my gum recession. The bristles are too hard and the high frequency vibrations causes recession. Not everyone is built the same, I switched to electric because dental hygienists kept saying your gums bleed even though I was brushing and flossing twice a day. Now I suffer from severe recession which is way worse than a few bleeding gums.
it was the other way for me. I used regular toothbrush for years, and my gum started receding. At my dentist advice switched to electric toothbrush helped with my gum recession along with other holistic treatments .
@@Marilynschannel Which holistic treatments are you using? Currently i'm rinsing with salt water, flossing only once every two days now and coconut oil pulling for 15 min a day.

My mom is deathly terrified of going to the dentist. She hasn't gone probably in 20+ years, we've been trying to remind her to go. Unfortinately she's most likely going to need dentures. It's better to go in as soon as you're able and get things taken care of before it gets horrible and you have irreversible damage.

@@tatagar7981 I know there's a possibility of doing gum grafts if you have enough to work with. If your teeth are still good, you can probably ask for a gum graft and it will hopefully restore some of your gums by taking a bit from the roof of your mouth and replacing it by the teeth. I know I have a few teeth that the gums are receding because of hard brushing, so I may opt for this when I can afford it to prevent further gum damage.
Why misleading with such a title: "How to Treat and Reverse Gum Recession" when you both have repeated several times in this video that once the gum is gone is gone and it cannot be reversed? I can't stand this behaviour so I have give a thumb down because of your disonesty. All you are looking for is an audience to advertize products which will pay you.

I have been wearing braces for 4 years, and during this period I did scaling several times. After that, I have been suffering from gum recession for 1 year. Recently, I had gum grafting surgery, but it was not successful. What should I do now?
If you have 3 or 3.5mm recession that root has exposure. Mine is not due to gum disease , but its due to agressive brushing. Can I get a bonding or BioClear to protect the root, or will this cause further recession since the bonding material will be sitting at the gumline, and wil lthe material cause the gums to be irritated? Surgery is not really an option due to the rate of failure onboth pinhole and typical graft and lengthy recovery procedures . I would like some coservative treatment first.
I noticed how there arent any replies. I think many dentists arent interested in conservative treatment, they want to go for the high priced grafts., referrals and aftercare of the procedures.

I’ve only heard great things about oil pulling. Don’t know if you’ve heard of doing this but I’ve started brushing with turmeric, letting it sit for a minute then rinse. I follow that by brushing with toothpaste. It’s helped my gum pain and some swelling. It’s also a whitener so it’s done that as well. I’ve been doing it nightly and my teeth feel so clean.
Oil pulling worked wonders for me and it will be part of my daily routine for the rest of my life. My teeth are whiter, I don’t have throbbing pain or the severe teeth sensitivity. I can now chew on the side of my mouth that I could not use for Years. Stick with it. I noticed a difference in my pain levels after three days but it was weeks and months for things to really heal up. And it it is oil first ( for as long as you can) , spit in trash can , not in the sink, then normal teeth brushing routine.
