It seems you got the Flail and Halberd stats mixed up for the Balefire Guard. The flail is the one with the shorter range of the two (1|4|4|2/4). It's pretty odd because this is opposite of how Warcry usually handles flails.
Glad to see a statistical analysis of the warband! I didn't realize Soulblaze was so wide open with timing. I didn't read it closely enough apparently. Sequencing is definitely going to be important with this warband, but with so few fighters, it'll be tough. Minimizing being in the receiving end of attack actions is important in general, doubly so with this warband. Hopefully Soulblaze will help with that. Agonizing penance is just so fun. Bummer is that if you aren't in base-to-base contact after that move, you probably not gonna double up on damage (if you generate a pyre out of the target and the nearby dude didn't die, that is) It's also interesting to note that 2in diameter is slightly more than 50mm (50.8mm). So if anything with a base larger than a 50mm gets cremated, if it's in base-to-base contact when that happens, the base-to-base model will be out of range of the pyre. Anything 50mm or lower will be in range.
I am using the Divine Blessings matched play rules. I cover them here th-cam.com/video/Bg3EJTI83DA/w-d-xo.html but in short you can pay points to add stats to your fighters.
@@OffMetaMusings Awwh great thanks so much, just starting to learn how to play and picked up the Pyre and flood box yesterday. Thanks for such an informative video

Thats... true XD Ah well, at least they are all the same points!

All very good points :)
When you are doing the 'MATHS!' I'm unsure how you are adding +1T to some units please can you explain?
