fantastic vid! that is 25 mins of my life gladly given 😁 I am from the UK and went to buy a new 2023 390 adv today, had to ride 70 miles to the nearest KTM dealer only to be told the only salesman took the day off 🤔, just my luck..having to ride another 140 mile round trip tomorrow 🤣
Wow, great ride, loved every second of it and really good to see the plucky 390 make the trip with no issues (and fully loaded too!)! Testament to the capability of a small capacity adventure bike like the KTM!
Amazing for your video of Virginia to Oregon with KTM 390's | HIGHLIGHTS | 5,600 miles in 18 days along the TAT 4k. I admire you. I love your video. thanks for sharing.🥰
Thank you! I love my 2022 390 Adventure and it has proven to be quite capable off-road, but I am glad to see y’all do an actual long distance, multi day adventure on this bike. Ride on!
Outstanding!!! Can you share details on how the bike is setup? Gear, tires, etc. This is exactly what I want to do!! Another video with a walkthrough on the bike and changes made for this ride, along with gear, would be welcomed.
Descending the west side of Ophir in 2020 on a Versys-X 300 I walked about a hundred feet of the roughest spot, then bit it a little further down in a sandy spot!
Congrats! Big adventure! It would be great to know what about the travel with the bike, feelings with the engine, the payload and the bike, etc. Thanks.
That sounds looks like an amazing adventure! Would you be willing to share the route you took? I would love to replicate the trip, it looks incredible!
Ditto. I had heard it was risky to run a 390 on the alloy rims fully loaded off road, but it looks like you three proved that theory wrong. Interested to know about tires, skid plate, any suspension mods, whether the front mud guard got jammed (I’ve considered the after-market raised dirt-bike style mud-guard), windshield mods (looks like one person in the group had a larger one), foot peg mods (heard the stock ones are tipped forward too far for good standing position)
Your videos are captivating; your journeys are extraordinary! 🌄 Could you share some insights on dealing with fatigue during those long rides and keeping yourself in optimal health? Can't wait!
Would you recommend the 390 adv for this thrip? Or would you prefer a different bike if you were going to do it again? Looking to purchase one. Thanks. Awesome trip!
Awesome ride. I would have liked to hear the bikes singing rather than hear a prerecorded tune. Also, I'm curious: What was your chain cleaning and chain oiling regimen during the ride?
All our bikes were pretty new, we did not not experience any real issues. No issues with stalling, and the 14 tooth sprocket made the low end more responsive preventing many stalls. Avg fuel varies significantly with the terrain, I never payed attention to it as I had a spare gallon that I never used.
"No flat tires the entire trip, we had tubes, plugs, and pumps ready", I'd like to know what other backups and tools you brought with you on the trip. Did at least one of you bring an extra chain? Tools? Levers / Parts?
Take a test ride anyway you can. I've heard tall riders being comfortable. Heres a quote from an article, "The distance from the seat to the footpegs is also comfortable for taller riders like myself at 6 foot 2 inches. Although in the standing position, it is slightly cramped with the bars feeling a bit low and too far back for my size, even with the handlebar supports set in the high/forward position".
Modern cowboys!!!I like KTM390 probably will be my next motorbike!Cheers from Greece!
Fantastic scenery. Great to see the 390 fully loaded punching out the miles.
Amazing! And some people say the 390 Adv isn't a true adventure bike.

Beautiful scenery, great music and above all super presentation 👍
This is the most epic video with KTM Duke 390 that i saw! Thank you brother, please continue and do it again! So hopeful route, travel and nature!
“Adverture”
" Adventure "
Great video. That bike is a good light adventure bike, perhaps the best under 600cc.
Thank you for sharing
Cheers from Tasmania
What a fantastic video guys !!!! I had to Google TAT to find out exactly what that was. Brilliant !
Great video. My wife and I just picked up 2 390s and love them. Hope you put out some more videos of y’all’s rides.

Sounds exhausting, nice work! Memories for a lifetime!
What an epic adventure! I can't wait to do stuff like this with my 390 Adventure!
Stunning video, epic ride. That deep red mud looked horrible to ride through, tiring I bet.
Great edit man! Looking forward to trips like that on my 390 as well.
Belle aventure, paysages magnifiques , joli montage vidéo ! Ce petit 390 marche fort !

@@xmotopulse Outstanding! Thank you 👍
Now that looks like an Awesome Adventure Cross Country on Gr8 Motorcycles...Aloha from Maui 🤙
Bucket List Trip - thanks for sharing.
Great adventure and great video, keep the videos coming
Excellent machine!
This is absolutely epic! ❤
It's very comfortable for long rides and well build product
Great video. I did the TAT in 2021 and found the Ophir Pass descent the hardest part of the entire ride.
Descending the west side of Ophir in 2020 on a Versys-X 300 I walked about a hundred feet of the roughest spot, then bit it a little further down in a sandy spot!
What an adventure!
Congrats! Big adventure! It would be great to know what about the travel with the bike, feelings with the engine, the payload and the bike, etc. Thanks.
Looks amazing. Great video. Can u share the route you took and maybe recommendations to parts you liked vs didn’t like
This video was awesome 😁🤘
Thank you 🍻
Awesome soundtrack :)
Wow !!!! Amazing 🤩
Excellent, Thank you!
Well done! Excellent video!
That sounds looks like an amazing adventure! Would you be willing to share the route you took? I would love to replicate the trip, it looks incredible!
Great job guys!
Very entertaining video, I like it!!
Awesome adventure
Great vid. I might have missed it, but what were the begin/end dates of your ride?
Could you let me know what mods you guys did to your KTMs? what you thought worked and didn't work. It looked like an excellent adventure!
Ditto. I had heard it was risky to run a 390 on the alloy rims fully loaded off road, but it looks like you three proved that theory wrong. Rims are no issue unless you air them down too much ( see Brett Tkacs video on TH-cam) or you are going faster than that bike should go.
Thanks! added some notes to the description

Keep yourself fit with regular aerobic & strength training. Ride regularly also.
Nice job on the video, I even liked your choice in music! Question, did you ride the bikes back to VA?
Thanks, we rented a van from budget and drove back 3 days straight.
18 Days
Would you recommend the 390 adv for this thrip? Or would you prefer a different bike if you were going to do it again? Looking to purchase one. Thanks. Awesome trip!
Great footage. What tires were you guys riding on?
How did you guys mount the Rotopax to the inside of the pannier racks?
Awesome awesome awesome!
Вы большие молодцы! Очень крутое и атмосферное видео!!! Удачи Вам!!!
I also own a KTM Adv 390. Awesome bike....
what an epic road trip. great video too. How was the comfort level on the bike on long days?
Overall, how did the bike do on that distance and loaded down? Any tips for that distance on that bike?
Wow! What a trip. I wonder if a Fuel X device might have enabled better combustion at high altitudes?
Awesome ride. I would have liked to hear the bikes singing rather than hear a prerecorded tune. Also, I'm curious: What was your chain cleaning and chain oiling regimen during the ride?
Thanks! Just a little chain cleaner spray and wipe, then spray lube. Was not worried about it as I would replace everything at the end of the trip.
Nice!
I feel sorry for your suspension. hahaha
Man I wish I could do this.
No mechanical issues, stalling, average fuel consumption for the trip?
All our bikes were pretty new, we did not not experience any real issues. No issues with stalling, and the 14 tooth sprocket made the low end more responsive preventing many stalls. Avg fuel varies significantly with the terrain, I never payed attention to it as I had a spare gallon that I never used.

Would the 390 be suitable for a person that is 6’2”. 235 lbs?? Or should I opt for a DR 650 ?? Thanks Tony

hey do you think it can do all these miles with someone on the passenger seat?
amazes me how vast and empty the USA is, kinda like Canada
Did anything break?
Busted one ktm power part skid plate, right at the front bracket. It was welded back together later 😄
nice, I really want to join you.
A nicely put together video! Good music but I wish there was at least a little commentary here and there.
Amazing trip looks excellent...shame about the dreadful music
virginia to broken seal😂
too much music, sorry
nice video but the music was a bit much ..
Hi. Any problem with KTM's during this trip? Greetings from Poland
