I’m 62, and very active. Get a dog that needs exercise. You will get more than 10K steps a day. I’m disappointed if I get less than 15K. Dont forget lifting heavy things is important. I also heavy weight train 4-5 times a week and work on balance exercises daily. Love this video. Small steps in the right direction.
That’s great for you, but for the average person it is difficult to walk more than 15k steps a day with a sedentary 8 hour job, especially in the office.
About two weeks ago I decided to begin stair pushups. 65 and haven't worked out forever. I struggled to complete 10 - shoulder issues and weakness. After two weeks I can pump out 20 in 30 seconds. 20 to 25+ takes more effort. Hopefully 30 in 30 seconds by end of month. I posted because I was amazed at how quickly I went from struggling to do ten to pumping out 20 quick ones.
Working with Dr. Seeds at Redox Medical Group has dramatically changed my life. Not only from a physical performance standpoint but also in sognative performance. Nice to see Sal give credit to the Doctor who really is so far beyond everyone else. Amazing.

@ I go through about 16 oz. of cottage cheese per week. I vary it, sometimes with nuts to give it crunch. I’ve tried it in recipes with eggs but I tend to prefer it more like a salad. It’s good with crushed pineapple or apricots if you like fruit.
For me, it’s high protein when I don’t feel like cooking much. Even though there are so many ways to prepare eggs, I need a break from them at times. One of the main things seems to be providing enough variation so I don’t get bored.
Walk 5-10 min after meal Hit your protein goal daily (1g per body weight) Weight training Eat protein first Keep moving all day not just workout 1 hour hard and sit rest of day Walk min 8,000 steps a day this is threshold to impact
Hmmm... good point, but still a great discussion. I wasn't familiar with Creatine...now considering creatine as I don't take supplements as a general principle...
@@Zaeiouy_dBbeen taking 5 grand of creatine for a long time. Last year I went up to 10 grams a day but my Doc told me to stay at 5g. I don’t notice a difference so one again Seefs was right.
I'm a 57yo retired firefighter and am recently back in the gym. I've been vegetarian for a year. How is consuming my target body weight in protein using a veg diet possible when every source of protein is also a carb?
2 weeks off coffee , still sucks lol. I ll stick to the commitment of being coffee free for the rest of my life no matter what. Hopefully this withdrawal torture will come to an end soon.
Idk why he calls it a silent epidemic. I work at a school. These kids don't have to do any serious PE, they can't walk around the track and if you mention weight, WHY ARE YOU FAT SHAMING? They are very outspoken about being obese and how society hates fat people. Until they cut off one of your feet and you are blind. It's crazy. And if you need some fiber, you might want to start with methylcellulose. It does not cause bloating and gas. It's more expensive but it sure is less disruptive when you are in a meeting! Toot toot!
Can you please reduce to 1,2,3 in 1 minute? 😊 I have multiple hour long videos all by very valuable content creators but I don't have the bandwidth to listen to most of them wander through their topics- some are better at directing the interviews and deriving value.
I share this frustration with these long form discussions. I recommend following Dr. Eric Berg (DrBerg) and Dr. Livingood (DrLivingood) for those quick hitters - if you know of others, let me know.
why should he change just for you and your short attention span? lots of us like the long vids just the way they are, and appreciate dhru for doing all this for us. Hear that Dhru? Keep em coming!

So true. I walked 15k steps yesterday aon a rest day and I was amazed by how good I felt. That extra 5lk steps - by g does diff.
It's not necessary to do 10k or 15k steps in a day.
@@peterjohnson9291what’s your thought?

This came up on my feed. So glad I listened all the way through it.
Cottage cheese with cucumber and some apple cider vinegar and a squirt of MCT is a very satisfying lunch.
How often do you eat that meal?

Would I get the same benefits of Creatine if I do Body Weight exercises instead of Weightlifting ?

Yes!! He should break it down to several short segments
