Wednesday and Pugsley are actually very well rounded and well informed children. They have their own personalities and aren't afraid to show them. They're parents must be proud, they raised independent thinkers. Wednesday has always been one of my favorite characters.

Actually, he reminds me a little of the older Addams Family tv series's Wednesday, who was around 5 (?) years old and therefore could get away with being seemingly mostly normal but ocassionally saying "weird" (lowkey dark) stuff and call it good.

Christina Ricci didn't just play Wednesday, she BECAME her. To this day, I think she is the DEFINITIVE Wednesday Addams. Fans of the series can debate on who was the best Gomez, even though both John Astin and Raul Julia were perfect and each displayed a different, yet significant part of the character, but Christina IS Wednesday. No other actress could match her performance.

I was surprised to learn that the 90s Addams Family movies' depiction of Wednesday as Pugsley's older sister was a deviation of Charles Addams's original, where Pugsley is the first-born.
