I have taken many, many pictures with this camera, on Kodachrome. I inherited it from my dad, who bought it around 1949 or 1950. There are baby pictures of me from 1952! I used it mostly in 1980 on a three-month backpacking trip in Europe. My camera still has the leather case! The rangefinder is VERY cool. I also LOVE the continuous aperture, and the "hyperfocal table" is fantastic. I used a shutter speed of 1/100 most of the time with Kodachrome 64 in broad daylight. My dad probably used 1/25th with the old Kodachrome 25.
I have a viewer for the Kodachrome slides (and their special cardboard slide mounts). My dad used a system using flimsy cardboard mounts, sandwiched between 2 glass slides and secured with tape on the edges. It used to take him hours to hand mount his slides, but in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s you could order "stereo mount" on cardboard, just like ordinary 35 mm, when you took your film in for processing.
There was a projector you could buy, but my family could never afford one (and the screen also had to be a special material, maybe lenticular but I can't remember). They cost over $800 in today's dollars.
I just LOVE all the controls on this camera! My dad had a flash attachment which somehow disappeared over the past 50 years, but I have always used available light anyway.
Maybe I'll take it out and use it again, for old times sake, and then scan the images to digital. Ten years ago, I used Stereo Photo Maker software (still available and still free) to do the alignments of my family's scanned Kodachromes, going back to the early '50s. I posted a TH-cam anaglyph photo series to TH-cam about 12 years ago, but I can't find it on my channel anymore. Side-by-side is always best anyway.

I would recommend the Qoocam EGO 3D camera from Kandao. It's very small and takes both video and still pictures.
