I had serious back surgery several years back and my friends asked why I did my hair and make up . I did it for me. It made me feel like I was better than I felt. Melissa you’re doing so well. I know what you’re going through because of my shoulders. I have bad problems with both of mine. I haven’t had any X-rays but the doctor thought I might have rotator cuff tears. I can’t reach above my shoulders at all. I sit on my bed & lean on my pillow to put my hair up. I go through lots of contortions to get my hair done. I can’t blow dry my hair at all. Thankfully Linda sets my hair. I’m so proud of you. You’re fighting this diagnosis. Some people just give up. I hope it went well at the surgeons. You’re always in my prayers. Love you, Lucy
Can you ask your doctor whether you can get a shoulder brace or braces to wear? I had a left shoulder injury a few years ago and wore a shoulder brace for a year (just bought it over the counter) and my shoulder is now great. Ask about a brace.
It's wonderful to see you keeping your spirits up and trying to lead your life as normally as possible, while going through your recovery. Melissa, I am just so impressed. You are a badass! Your recovery is moving at warp speed. You are a strong willed lady. The women I've know progressed at a much slower pace and we're in a lot of pain for quite awhile. This was about ten or so years ago so perhaps the surgery is less traumatic but still even if that's true (and I certainly hope they've improved the surgery technique) your fortitude is amazing. I must thank God again for bringing you through the surgery; sometimes I forget to thank him after He answers my prayers. Thank you for showing us your recovery I'm sure it will give someone hope. Can you ask your doctor whether you can get a shoulder brace or braces to wear? I had a left shoulder injury a few years ago and wore a shoulder brace for a year (just bought it over the counter) and my shoulder is now great. Ask about a brace.

It's wonderful to see you keeping your spirits up and trying to lead your life as normally as possible, while going through your recovery. Melissa, I am just so impressed. You are a badass! Your recovery is moving at warp speed. You are a strong willed lady. The women I've know progressed at a much slower pace and we're in a lot of pain for quite awhile. This was about ten or so years ago so perhaps the surgery is less traumatic but still even if that's true (and I certainly hope they've improved the surgery technique) your fortitude is amazing. I must thank God again for bringing you through the surgery; sometimes I forget to thank him after He answers my prayers. Thank you for showing us your recovery I'm sure it will give someone hope.
