This is how you built models in the late 1960s. Plans from a magazine and your own skills. The materials may be a little different but this is an awesome example of building. I never got to this level. Wow.

Отличная работа! С каждой новой моделью уровень всё выше. Технология похожа на ту, по которой делает модели Алексей ALNADO, только лишней болтовни в видео нет🙂 И все понятно без слов! Качество видео, ускорение в затяжных моментах, это то чего не хватает в видео -уроках Альнадо. Весь процесс сборки, это просто бальзам на душу перфекциониста 🙂 Даже Ramy-rc, не делает таких видео... Желаю тебе дальнейшего развития как моделисту, развития твоего канала, и жду импеллерных самолётов, может быть МиГ-35, или Су-27?

Забыл спросить, какой температурой утюга надо пришкваривать скотч? А то я так делал, и скотч от высокой температуры сначала размягчается, а потом остывая - стягивается и деформирует деталь, по крайней мере если она из одного слоя подложки под ламинат, это рули высоты и направления.
на моём утюге нет градусов, экспериментально подбирается, так чтоб не плавил, достаточно просто немного подогреть

Thats foam board and you need to remove the paoer off the part you need to fold to be easier

yes
Depron is quite stiff, it would not be ideal to build such curvy model. It breaks when you try to bend it. However there are some techniques to bend it also. Few of them are heating, taping one side, bevel cut on angles etc.

I'm in the Philippines it seems that the most plentiful foam board is pvc expanded foam board. Can this be used for making planes?

Can I use 6mm depron ? I have print the plans . I'm going to make the plane

22:33 Now I know why I have so many metal rulers. I will need all of them someday. Btw. How many wings have you cracked folding them. Looks like you are not heating the foam at all.
I build wings this way too, and if you put tape on the outside of the curve before you bend it, it won't crack at all. If you look closely you will see that he put painter's tape on the wings before he made the bend.
@@samnelson3526 I've used 6mm depron and its propably stiffer and doesnt bend as easily.
for wing skin better use 3 mm Depron
