- How to make North American T-28 Trojan (U.S. NAVY trainer) RC Plane scale model (full DIY scratch build video tutorial & maiden flight).
Wingspan: 1000 mm (≈40")
Flying Weight: 307/322g (w/wo removable landing gear)
Materials: XPS foam 3-5mm (Depron), 4x4mm balsa spars, 1,5-2mm aircraft plywood, carbon strips & 2mm rods

I really think I’m your biggest fan, I haven’t seen a builder anywhere online who is as precise and refined in their design and building as you. I have every one of your designs on my list to build but we struggle to get the crisp foam sheets you get there. There’s something special about the sound of a rigid light foam that I love. Another stunning piece! I like the full span flaperons, a very clever design decision most wouldn’t even notice, you have strong aerodynamic instincts.
Really, I don't think I know of anyone who can design and build a 1m wingspan warbird for less than 350 grams, while also making look so close to scale! Incredible work indeed!
At the start when you were unboxing the foam model I was mumbling " but this is a kit build not DIY" . . . . I was very quickly humbled by your incredible talent.

how about an a-7e. it could light enough to use a fifty mm edf. while being, at scale, physically large enough to accommodate the use of optimal internal airflow design.
specifically, the optimal exit cross-sectional area is equal to the effective swept area of the impeller. the Minimum efficient intake area is also that value. d

22:05 when inboard dihedral is used it is Normal that the structure of the main wing consist of two wing halves and a (fuselage-spanning) Center section.! doing so results in a wing that has DI-hedral wing; not a mono-hedral. bravo, for the use of Optimal main spar design. 23:03 not sure if that is washout; just looks like uniform taper/reduction of the profile. when the wing is completed, it should have, either, a clark-y or n-10 profile. this is so because, a tiny wing has a tiny reynolds number (re #), and the choice of wing profile should be INFORMED by that fact. (in the case of a tiny aircraft, the re# is very low because of: Small chord length and low airspeeds.) d
