As a former High School Football coach turned official, I love seeing stories like this. I also coached Softball and I always encouraged my athletes to tryout for other sports even wrestling. My last season which was 2017 I had 2 players on the softball team who wrestled and both made the state semi's and 1 of the 2 won the states in her weight class.

Women deserve to have their own football teams in every high school in the country. In my high school, they have their own basketball team, their own soccer team, their own baseball team, so why not football?
For baseball to exist the youth leagues have to stop softball and have girls' baseball and then wait about 10 years. Basketball has been played by females for close to 100 years, look at colleges in the 1940s having women's basketball, plus a team only needs 12 players. Soccer came to America around the time of Title IX so it grew for both genders simultaneously. Football needs too many players and girls are not interested in playing it so it would be hard to field a team, at least 30 needed. So you will not get the interest.
