I've used a Kickstart with a coil machine before, It's not necessary. The reason why I do is because my power supply has it set automatically, however I switched which supply I use for that machine and it's back to "normal".
However, I've been considering using one of these Inkclaw grips on my Bishop Rotary V6 machine.
Edit: not necessary for coil machines unless you are using cartridges. I'm not a super expert or wizard, but these are just my findings from experience.
Will a 1 peice shank fit in it or do they have to be separated
Hey thank you for a great video! Weird question: is it possible to switch tubes and bottom cap between 1.5 and 2.0 to make 2.0 work with bar needles? I have 2.0 and thinking about ordering tube and cap for 1.5 so I can have options to use cartridges or bars with the same baterry but I'm not sure if these part's from 1.5 will fit 2.0. I could just get a second battery of course but this will be so much cheaper!

Also you mentioned a problem with the needle hang of the 1.5.
I have a kubin and have the needle hanging out 3mm, the whole way. But it will still retract to be flush with the tube tip. Is that possible with the 1.5?

It's 126g in weight and grip itself is 57mm long and you may need extra few mm to get cable out of way depending on how you position grip. I hope it helps otherwise DM me on Instagram and I can try to set it up with my Kubin machine

By moving the grip up or down the machine
I lost my rca-cable for my 1.5, can i buy a new one in your online shop? I didn't find one :(

Why would anyone want harder tension on the membrane ????
I had same question. From what I understand - harder tension is better for hard hitting machines... It's sort of harder in and harder out. There are some useful comments under video about cartridges with different tensions

It should. I mean I see no reason why it wouldn't work with it

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't fit. It would depend on how power hungry that machine is for reason of how long it's going to run

If you mean around the plunger sort of to stabilise or keep it in place then I did not notice any difference
