    When we ask a priest ( JESUS) for forgiveness, we almost always get absolution. THEN WE NEED TO OFFER REPARATION FOR HURTING HIS HEART. And as you said: and do more for those that offer no reparation.
    At Church this evening perhaps over 70 people walked past the TABERNACLE without even a glance. That hurts HIM. I sit in a pew that has no kneeler and bow to HIM for each person that doesn’t.
    I kneel to receive HIM on my tongue. My hands have not the blessing of a priest or deacon.
    How few realize our existence is due to HIM and offer no THANKS.
    It causes me to tears sometimes.
    And it is going to get worse. I believe the Apostasy is here or but a prayer (?) away😢💦😭
    GOD STRENGTHEN US, PLEASE
    🙏❤️🙏❤️

      Just got back from praying Rosary of reparation in front of St. Patrick’s run by TFP. Disappointed so few showed up, Cardinal Dolan and Cathedral priests nowhere to be found. On other note, New Yorkers behaved themselves. Only a few people protested us, but no assaults, cursing out, getting in our faces, throwing things, etc. A few objectors actually carried on civil discussions. Most people just walked on by as is normal for New York. We see so many kinds of people and strange behavior, we’re inured to it. A group of people saying prayers outside a church isn’t notice worthy.

    Are actual tears always necessary?
    Even if I know and believe that my sins are an offense to God and fully confess them?

      How much sorrow is there in your heart? First repentance or 100th? At my conversion I cried many times, deeply sobbing cries. That has lessened in a few years that have past and sometimes we will experience aridity, but the Lord will sneak up on you and tears will flow. Be grateful when you cry it is a great gift

      I have cried at first first confession after 20+ years.
      But the weeks and months following, it was going to confession because of old sinful habits cropping up, and I knew they were offensive and I want to make peace with God, but I wasn't crying during those confessions. If anything I was greatly frustrated at myself for being careless with my offenses.

    • @boomct8569
      @boomct8569 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If it is said in prayer or teaching (eg. quoting the saints prayers etc) then it is OK as it’s not said in vain, because the motive is to address God reverently or help others learn about God. If it is said flippantly or as an expression of surprise etc. it’s wrong, even if it is a priest saying it 😢

      @@boomct8569 Thank you! I really apreciated your explanation. Makes sense. But I on few occasions a Pruest said it, just as like most people say, which is realy sad. I asked this question to a priest, instead of telling him that he was saying God's name in vain. He had a pause, than said Oh, yes, not good, it's a sin! I said thanks father! And wake way. Priest should know better.

    I want to fast but I am finding it SO DIFFICULT ! Anyone have any advice for me, I think of food as an addiction!

    • @rutepina8822
      @rutepina8822 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Start small, instead of eating at noon, I eat at 1. And offer that hour of fasting, then add 15 min everyday day. Before you know it you’ve skipped lunch for example and you’ve made it to dinner. Train for it, you don’t start running and go run a marathon on the first week of training. Same thing with fasting. Even if it’s just a small action, if it’s made with a loving heart that’s what matters to God. He knows we struggle, and we try, and we mess up. But every day if we say to God, “Lord I tried and I couldn’t make it yesterday, I will try to do better today”. And if you can’t fast, eat smaller portions. And if you do have a eating disorder or a difficult relationship with food then do a media fast. Don’t entertain yourself with the sins that crucified our Lord. Shows with murder, violence, profanity, fornication give them up and offer that time spent in prayer or listening to a hymn and ponder the passion of our Lord. Keep trying your best, and there may be days that absolutely suck in terms of abstinence from food or media but the spiritual benefits are unmatched. And ask for your guardian angel’s assistance he desperately wants you to grow in holiness and if you ask for his assistance he will come through. May our Blessed Mother keep you sheltered in her mantle. God bless.

    • @mattberg916
      @mattberg916 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Possibly take up a devotion to His five sacred wounds. Relating His sufferings to your own sinful appetites (lust, seeking comfort, denying any hardship, etc.) may help you understand the importance of fasting to strengthen your resolve in the mortification of your other passions. Hopefully this is helpful to you. May the Lord be with you

    23:48 it obviously means the invalid mass in the novus ordo missae. It already happened, it seems.

    • @clairestevens3194
      @clairestevens3194 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The ordinary form of the Mass is valid. There is nothing about it that would make it invalid. It is approved by the Church. The words of consecration are valid. The priests are validly ordained. As one who attended daily Mass before Vatican 2, I loved the Latin Mass but I’m not stubborn enough to reject the ordinary form of Mass today. I’m sure when the Tridentine Mass was first introduced, and the many changes to it that were done over the years, people found it difficult to accept back then too. Even though you may believe that one way of praying the Mass is in some way objectively better than another, which may be accurate, the most important thing is God’s action and our grateful response.

    • @jorgepenaloza6834
      @jorgepenaloza6834 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The words of consecrations were changed, rendering it invalid.@stevens3194 additional prove of its invalidity is the effects it caused in most of the adults who went to the invalid mass in the early 70s and onwards (even to this day) that is, the bad effect of losing the faith and becoming more liberal, which is undeniably the trend amongst the people who partake of the invalid mass.

    The punishment for desecrating a church is nothing, other than having to watch what you have done (before God) after you die. Remember, this is a speaker who trashes Marian apparitions that he knows nothing about. When you decide, as a priest, that everything you think is true is true, you then need to find a new profession. I'm so tired of this guy proclaiming things he has no knowledge of. There is no atonent without the shedding of blood. This idea that the forgiven soul is 'dirty' and has to be cleansed by works of reparation is both unbiblical and primitive. Only material objects get dirty. Christ's work is sufficient to atone for and cleanse the soul.
