That line that connects the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail . I lost the crush washers when removing it and still have the banjo bolt . Are there two crush washers ? Or just one? I’m kinda pissed it fell
I’ve got a bit far on my project now I’m at the fuel part and I’m stuck because I keep reading about different fitting threads not size but dimensions on how they screw in or something like that what’s the right size and dimension or for example ( “NPT” or “BSP”) would anyone know 🥴😭I’m stuck and confused I got my fuel pump setup but I don’t have the motor side set yet to completely have fuel
@@CartuneNZ not that good this part of the build I’m learning as I go 😅 what does that mean exactly like for the in side there’s a big fitting wich the size to that for me is unknown but I need it so I can make it a -6 an line or w.e works honestly 😅
My non-VVTI 1UZFE is running rough and has no power. I changed the fuel pump (in-tank) as I thought it may be a faulty pump...no luck. Any advice would be much appreciated!
I'd recommend doing some diagnosing, all tbe normal checks like compression test, check ignition system, check fuel system, check electric and ecu etc etc
Dampener takes out the pulses (or reduces them) from things like fuel pump and injectors operation to try and steady fuel pressure. So easy answer is yes.
hi. my car has no obd2 port and is running rich on fuel. changed the ect sensor and runs really good for 3 days and now runs really rich on fuel again. checked the ecu and nothing is wrong, tried other ecu, no difference. what else should i check?
Correct. Unfortunately we use incorrect terms to keep it simple for people who dont know. I want to do a video on how air gets pushes into engines but the guys that think air is "sucked" in may freak out.
Do you know the size of the threads going into the the fuel feed line? There’s a fitting on the end of the hose
Ive been learnjng so much watching your videos! Just got a 90 ls400
Glad to hear it!
I want info on that supercharged 1uz
What is the right way to install a universal/aftermarket fuel pressure regulator on a 1uz fe first generation
That in line is close to the exhaust heat damn
Jetboat with watercooled exhaust manifolds so the don't get hot.

Hello Calvin, thank you for sharing the information.
I have a question.
How many lines do you have to return fuel to the tank?
Is it on both sides?
If the engine has a return line its just one.

Fuel fittings are metric on the uz engines.

What has to plugged liked coolant lines on a a supercharged 1uz like this one, might have a valley leak mine has an M90
I plug the same stuff as a non supercharged UZ. th-cam.com/video/ZB40HpvCOf0/w-d-xo.html

Kelvin, is the dampener just to maintain a fixed inlet pressure?
Dampener takes out the pulses (or reduces them) from things like fuel pump and injectors operation to try and steady fuel pressure. So easy answer is yes.

I would wire the diagnostic port, check codes and monitor live data. Easy as.
I don’t see a dampener on the inlet side of my 95 Canadian car. Is that something I should buy and install?
Thats interesting. Do you have a model code?? I will see if it had one from factory
@@CartuneNZ Model # of my ecu?
I could work with ecu number or the model number from chassis tag if its factory car
Such pressure to try and understand....
No such thing as a vacuum, it’s called a pressure differential...trust me on this...🤪

Wall of wiring looms lol
There are a few hanging there. Cheers Kelvin
