This makes me want to one day start a shipping company that only uses sail ships, Given where I’m from it’d be best to mostly transport goods around Australia/ Oceania, I’d try and transport locally grown and made goods
Good stories, worthy objective, and it could be viable for premium goods by unlocking small under-used ports. You will need to sail faster than 3 knots though. When sail dominated they averaged 10 to 12 knots, without weather routing, GPS, or modern clothing and healthcare.
Three cheers for Ben! Mate you must have been sooo nervous in front of that huge audience! It's a great presentation!
I'm so much touched by your lecture and I hope many people feel the same like me - well done, Ben, indeed!
Thanks TEDx München for having us! Next time will you come sailing cargo with us?
After all is said and done, how much does a sailor get paid on a boat like this?
@@Jimmy_in_Mexico you get paid in salt water.

Well Spoken Ben!
Well done Benny
Yay! Great story!
YEEEAAAHHHH!!!!!
It CAN be done, we just need to be in less of a rush.
I have an idea for a boat design, recycled materials...Just an idea...
I am doing it.
The only solution is to reduce how much we consume
