God damn. A GMC Jimmy that had contemporary WRX-like acceleration numbers back in the early 90s... I remember when these things hit the streets and wiped the smarmy smirk off of many Corvette/Z28/Trans Am/5.0/Ricer/Euro sports-car owner's faces. It goes to show what GM engineers could achieve when the bean-counters loosened their leash a little.

348tb is 170mph. I dont believe the typhoon is faster. Also the acceleration is 5.5 0-60 from the 348tb and i am sure it is faster/better accelerating in a rolling start compared to the typhoon.

We should put these online or something! People would LOVE this old stuff!!" | Manager: "I know you're young and energetic, but that's not how things work around here. Consumers don't want to watch old stuff. It's just that simple. Just throw them away." | Employee: "But...but....all this valuable content?? My friends ask me about stuff like this all the time!! Why can't we just put them on TH-cam or something? It's FREE!" | Manager: "Do you ever look at the ratings for TV shows? Consumers want REALITY shows, crime dramas, and to see untalented singers get mocked for having no talent. Nobody wants to see 30-year-old shows about cars." | Employee: "But...but...." | Manager: "Ok whatever. I'm going to meet a couple of our sponsors for a round of golf this afternoon. Do whatever you want with those old tapes, but I want them out of this closet by the end of the day. We have some environmental monitoring equipment to install in here before the end of the month." | 5 hours later......manager returns from golf outing. | Employee: "You'll never believe this!! I just uploaded 20 of these old episodes to TH-cam, and they've already gone viral. We have over 100,000 views already!!" | Manager: "What's a U-Tube?"

CamaroAmx the original vectors were very reliable. Workmanship was too notch, it's only when Weigart lost control of vector in a hostile takeover, to an East Indian company called Avertech(or something like that). They made the different body style, and used a lambo engine. Went to shit from there.

I love this so much. Reminds me of the Trailblazer SS. So much fun driving a small SUV with awd and enough power to beat most cars at a spot light. No one ever expects you blowing past them in a heavy SUV. The weight and awd really hooks on the street. Trailblazer ss came with 395hp but this being turbo 6cyl would be even quiter than a modern ls2 v8 with a modern exhaust. I love werid powerful sleepers. More fun than most muscle cars for laughs.
