I am using the JOBO CPE-3 processor since its introduction to the market: I am very satiesfied and can highly recommed it! I am using it mostly for E6 processing, but also for C41 and BW reversal processing. The CPE-3 makes processing extremely precise and reliable, and also very easy. It is a joy to use. One of the best tools in my lab!
I bought a CPE3 after deciding a new machine would be better than and ancient second hand one that people want too much money for and they’re likely to break down. At first I was worried about the cost, but I haven’t regretted buying it for a minute. I thought I would only use it for reversal film, but I use it for everything now. I do a lot of black and white reversal and I even develop my black and white negatives with the Jobo without bothering to put water in it. If you’re wondering if you should get one or not, wonder no more. They’re well worth it.
