Hi! Greetings from Estonia. That berries are actually blackcurrants , not blueberries! Hope you find some space for our national flag! Best wishes for you and your beautiful wife!
Kati Pertel thank you! BLACKCURRANTS? What! -Googles them- that’s crazy blynnn! And yes! It now has a special place in my home where I’m starting to collect memories and stories to share with friends and family ❤️🙌🏼
Brian Velez also kalev and the beat is the same
@@BrianVelez Yeah, it was blackcurrant and there is a great reason why you probably have never heard of them. It's because blackcurrant is illegal in USA, well, it was and still is in most areas, and the reason for that is because blackcurrant has some weird disease that doesn't affect anything in Europe, but when uprooted to America it started killing some trees because they don't have the necessary antibodies. Found out that blackcurrant was behind it and it was banned from America for the longest of time and now some areas have permission.
Dunno what important I have forgotten so I knew this. I don't even like blackcurrant..
It was so awesome that You make so many Estonian realted videos! Im so happy that someone is truly intrested in our country and traditions! Keep up with good work! 💎🇪🇪💎

That's so cool to see your country's flag!😁
Keep up the good work Brian!
Really like you content, thanks!💖
Laima isn't from estonia it's from latvia🙂
I'm guessing they're still a staple of the Estonian candy scene since it was in the box
technically both kalev and laima are now norwegian since they got bought by orkla
Nope they are in estonia too
Laima is made in Latvia it's not Estonian sweet
Hahhaha you are soo cool! Im from estonia and im coming to Boca Raton this December 😃
This is so cool that american reacts to countrey where im living. And estonia isnt even famous place and this is so freaking cool to see something like that in yt!
About laima : alot of laimas products are made in Kalev factories. Especially the ones sold in Estonia.
Buuuut... both of the companies Laima and Kalev are owned by Orkla Group which is actually Norwegian company.
yeah, seems like recent thing, Kalev at least I know we're their own company for a a long time before?
Yes that is correct.
Oh heck yea!
Im estonian, tartu/ ma olen eestlane tartust. Love your vids
haha i send it to youu❤ im glad that you enjoy it😊
Chocolate and Chickens.
That blew my mind.
OMG JESS I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS THANK YOU XD
Kalev's parent company bought the Laima brand.
Mõnus maius is cornballs with caramel and condensed milk, one of my favorite.
I think you're mixing up regular vanilla with vanilla essence that CAN come from beaver anus. Regular vanilla comes from vanilla orchid that is a type of flower. It's actually native to Mexico and Central America so you should know ;)
! NB! Äge vaadake seda kui teil on kõht tühi!!!🇪🇪🇪🇪🇪🇪 btw Brian I love all those stuff what you tried 💓
Good video!I'm from Estonia
You probably dont like chocolate because all American chocolate tastes like throw up. Idk why Hersheys is so popular. It literally made me vom in my mouth. Try real European chocolate and you will love it. Kalev is the best in the world, Fazer is 2nd and Cadburry is third.
Both the American and British candy and chocolate are tasteless and too much sickly sweet for my taste. I like the Kalev products too, those chocolate cranberries must be So good!
Hert Niks omg yess, not a big fan of Hershey’s myself, tastes like rubber 🙄. It I LOVE Kalev and Laima
That is so true! The American chocolate tastes like a vomit and I really tried to like it but the taste gets to me everytime. I tried to be polite to my dear friend from New York when he send me valentine's day chocolate and didn't wanna upset him so I just said it's different tasting than European ones. Do they put something weird in American chocolate? Why the taste is like that? Good video btw. Greetings from Finland!
URXUNICORN . You know, Kalev and Laima are actually same company now. Both are part of Orkla ... Kalev produces some Laima brand products in Estonia.
Maiuspala.... Chocolate with chiken.
i wheezed so hard
Im form Estonia!! Like kui olete eestlane!!
Im estonian. Its kinda funny when you say our country words in english😉💖btw love your vids..
yes
The chocolate has martsipan in it and ITS MY FAVVV, I ORDER TO HAVE IT ON MY BDAY CAKE EVERY YEAR, also you can form animals or other things of it XD
I'm from Estonia!!🇪🇪💫🙂🙂
Nice vid!
Im estonian btw😃☺
Greetings from Estonia again 😂. Im interested, why do u like Eesti so much??? Actually this chocolate “with chicken” is chocolate with our popular candy with pistachios. Good luck on TH-cam.
Hello from estonia!!
Well a little diffrent but still awesome
Hey! Do you remember me? :) I´m so glad you are interested of Estonia. Sorry if it´s wrong. ;)
I’m from Estonia and Finland! Kudas lähep
Hi! Greetings from Estonia! Are you going to visit Estonia? I like to see your reactions about our stuff, keep up the amazing work Brian! :)
Hey bro i live in Estonia and im your big fan
im estonian!i like ur vids
Too much Life of Boris! Cheeki Breeki plin!!!!
Hiiiiii! I'm Estonian! I ❤ estonian snacks! 💜💜
They are really good!
Hey, what's up! soooo about that "chicken chocolate"
I did a little bit of research and the filling is made out of 40% white chocolate and decorated with pieces of Indian nuts which have been painted green with natural food coloring. In case u didn't know, they add vanilla flavoring to it. I guess that's why it smells and tastes like vanilla cream. Also, why in the hell are there chickens on the packaging? Over half a century old Maiuspala praline candies are the most beloved candies in Estonia. Kalev started producing them in 1956. The design of the candy box with a little blonde girl with chicks has remained unchanged for more than three decades and is known to almost all who love sweets, so when they decided to release a "maiuspala" chocolate bar, it made sense to add some chicks on the packaging. But yeah, now as I start to think about it, it's quite weird that there are chicks on the packaging lol, I guess we, estonians are just used to it. anyway! Keep up the good work, man! Love your videos! ;)
These are not blueberries but black currants covered with dark chocolate! Sorry you don't like dark chocolate as i prefer it to milk chocolate any day :)
The crunchy bear candy is says Mesikäpp in the top corner which is a nickname for bear aka. Honeypaw
The blackcurrant candy is made by Maiasmokk aka. Sweet tooth
Tere eestlased!👥🇪🇪🇪🇪👍
11:14 Those are actually black currant berries. They are native to Europe, but are banned in many places in the U.S, so it's no wonder that you have never heard of them. In fact, the taste of these berries is so popular in Europe, that it's the flavour we most associate with the colour purple, where as in the U.S, it is most commonly linked to grape.
When european settlers came to America, they brought these berry bushes along with them, but what they didn't know was that these plants were one of the carriers of a plant disease that the american plants had no defence against. That's why a lot of the trees, flowers and other plantlife stated to die where those bushes were planted. Of course, the black currant was banned in many states of the U.S, but while the bans have been lifted in some places, but it still remains so rare, that most people in America don't know what it tastes like.
5:26 geez mesi käpp. 8:46 those are good when there cold👍brain freeze
Btw fun fact about mesikäpp : Every year there's a marathon called mesikäpa run and almost every school participates there. People that go there have to order a shirt before and the money that mesikäpp collects goes to a charity (usually for childrens or cancer one). I have already 2 shirts :D
You should make a video about different charities in estonia (there's A LOT) because estonians are always ready to help. :D
That was sooo funny!!!!
Btw, i am estonian
Eestis on täitsa tore!!!
Like if ur estonian #estonian
Yess
Finally Brian! Right?
the way it sounded when you spoke estonian was funny btw i am estonian
You should use that flag as a background for your estonia videos ;)
I am from Estonia 🤗.
I have to try Estonian products more.
Must sõstar - direct translation is "(a) black berry", it's actually blackcurrant - a kind of berry, I like drinks that are made of 'em. Easiest to steam to get a concentrate, add a bit of sugar, store it, later just add water. And jams/marmalades o.o
What this clock name/mis selle kella nimi on
