I work at an ascension hospital, and it’s an absolute mess. It feels just like HCA

I will start a transitional year residency at an Ascension hospital this year and this was tough to hear since I will be making close to minimum wage. Thank you for the info. Broken system

Extremely broken system. They don't care! They especially don't care about their employees!

Prepare to be broken hearted and disappointed. BUT, don’t let this let your ethics down. Face them. They absolutely do NOT follow their religious and ethics. You will come to see this. Hold fast.

@@type1dmama299 well, they shouldn’t be encouraging or even forcing religious beliefs on people, which ascension breeds in its system. I had multiple nurses/doctors ask to pray for me, and when I said no, they called the chaplain and they came back to pray anyways. That’s not ethical

I remember leading a project concerning Medicare low income subsidy and stake holder developments. Reality based leadership.

Can't be a Non-profit if the CEO is profiting $14million per year as a bonus 🙄

The walk in my family works there sadly they are short staffed the ladies never get a day off really . If someone was to get sick they have no one to cover. I wish they would hire someone even zero assinged .Walk in shouldnt even be open sunday give the workers relief by hiring additional workers or close it on sunday. That is what the er is for. Im not sure i buy it is non profit . It may be one may never know. Nice video though . Later i will watch it in full to better understand the complexity of the hospital scene.

@ahealthcarez thank you sir for listening. I was a little rash simply because i feel for the workers. It is pretty tight in hospitals now days.
