The most recent version is 1.26 and it adds a few things which should improve explosive placement (so you don't place so many in one spot). It also adds an option to add delays between the explosions, uncap the explosion size to work with the mini nuke mod, an option to add timers to explosives and much more.
When destroying a big building like the warehouse or lighthouse, there is a certain percent or fraction of the building you have to destroy, and you have to disconnect it from the bottom.

You should get in the lighthouse and put spray paint on the bottom and explode it inside at the top and bomb at the bottom to drop it like with the rocket and made it fall

The reason why cutting a huge building off from the ground (IE the lighthouse) doesn't fall is probably because It needs to reach a small enough 'block' value to be affected by gravity (It is most likely this one) it is done to prevent huge amounts of lag when you cut down a light house like a tree in The Forest
There is gold and money in campaign mod in the secret vault (By the way there is a torch button you dont need to carry huge lights)

The warehouse at the start didn't fall because there was stuff connected to the roof. So it was still connected to something so it wouldn't fall.
