I did his on my 96 1z passat, mind you I had to replace the intake with a pd130 intake because the EGR valve is built into the intake manifold What I find amusing is that the ECM doesn't even throw a check engine light for it, I guess it doesn't actively monitor air flow to keep track of it
Did this end up fixing your boost issue? I’ve been chasing a power loss issue on my 1.9 as well
@@cameronroslie8531 no it wasn’t this. It was the vacuum actuator see the other video. I have lots of power now.

I have CEL until I get the tune
