Dude how can you not know what a hot pocket tastes like? We’re you a really picky eater? I was like that when I was a kid (and a lot of my adulthood) but I’ve been trying eating and making new things. It’s really exciting even when the food isn’t that great. My favorite thing I’ve made recently was beef and mushroom ramen! I’d never eaten a mushroom before. So the food reactions sound fun.

To better explain to Kirby, Asmodeus is one of the 7 Princes of Hell. He is the ruler of the Lust Ring and answers only to Lucifer and his family in terms of Hell's hierarchy in this show. So yes, he IS a big deal.

Something to keep in mind, in pictures from his past, blitz didn’t have all those white markings on his body, scars on imps are white, so if you remember the amount of white all over his body you see at the beginning of episode five, you can assume that something catastrophic had to have happened for him to suddenly get all those scars all over his body
Also his twin sister (named Barbie Wire, her name is on a poster of him and her in the meeting room) is still alive, I believe there was something about her being in rehab, don’t know about his mother though
Actually we don't know for sure what the white marks are. Scars are just a popular theory
The chatter on the net is we suspect that his mother passed away. As he is always wearing her necklace since the beginning of the series. Also, if you notice, all pictures in Blitz's place have him marked out of them.

The thing about Blitz: his "kink" is that he wishes for a relationship like M&M, but he would never admit that (he flinches when Moxxie sings "I love you").

This episode broke me in so many ways. Blitz not caring about actually spending time with Stolas but just using his reputation to get into the club just so he could stalk Moxxie and Millie only to get called out by not only his ex-girlfriend but Fizzarolli as well ( still not sure what relationship they had but judging on the picture on Blitz's phone at the end I'm guessing young love ) and not even getting stood up for by Stolas or the M&M's. And all the pictures on Blitz's phone as well. One of him and Stolas, adopting Loona, Moxxie's first day at I.M.P , him and Verosika, him and Fizzarolli, and finally him with his sister and their mother. ( originally the woman in the back was going to be his sister as well but they changed it last minute to be his mother ). Even Stolas is starting to change, he's actually growing to love Blitz and not just treating him like an object to be used to cheat on his wife with like before. This show is doing such an amazing job with these characters and I hope they keep up the great work
Blitzo's lack of heartfelt care led him right into a firing range, this time.
@@mechasaurus yeah I will admit that Blitz did walk himself into getting called out and what's worse, pretty much all of hell is going to know that Stolas, one of the high lords is sleeping with an imp which I guess would be like a king sleeping with a beggar so no doubt Stolas will be facing some kind of scandal in season 2 so I will say that Blitz caused A LOT of problems to come.

So to answear your question on if watching Moxxie and Millie is a fetish, he basically suffers from extreme depression and that cause him to push away every relationship he had but he deeply desires one. He watches and tries to interfere with their life because it’s what he wants and his whole happy and uncaring attitude around them is a facade to mask how he truly feels. You can also see this when he walks by the wall of pictures in his apartment and see that he has blacked out his face in every picture, maybe it’s because he’s smiling and it’s actually a fake smile or that he is so depressed that he doesn’t think he deserves happiness and it’s so far down that it’s all he truly knows and any time he tries to feel happy just feels wrong to him. This was also referred to in Episode 6 when he’s going up the golden stairs and his hallucination of Moxxie says “I believe your subconscious is telling you that you can’t fathom proper intimacy, but crave it as well. It’s rather unfortunate sir. So you push all those around you away” not sure if that was in right order but basically he scared of being hurt again so he pushes everyone away but is also desperate to feel loved and part of a family which is why he adopted Loona.
There are lots of theories about this. Also that his mother died because he wears her necklace from the picture and most likely his depression is a result of this, it would also make sense of why his sister is in rehab because maybe her way of coping with the loss was to do tons of substances or such.
Stolas can create portals but still wanted Blitzo to drive him home cause he loves him

This episode very nearly broke me at the end. You get so invested, and then it doesn't tug at your heartstrings. It grabs a fistful of them and *pulls.* Episode 8 should be, interesting.
Also, this is better than a *lot* of what the big name studios shovels out lately. Good animation, great voice acting, and a fantastic, engaging story with deep, complex characters. You just don't get that very often anymore, live action or animated, even some big budget bloated movies aren't able to keep me as engaged as Helluva Boss does. So props to Viziepop on creating this incredible cartoon and finding the best people to make something truly special.
I love the background detail that was put into this episode. If you look at the wall behind Blitzo before he finds Loona's note, he has scribbled out his face in every single picture that he is in. Shows just how deep his self-loathing goes.
The funny thing is, in 14:00 Asmodeus is technically praising Stolas. "You sold your life for a thrust! Now, that's the spirit of Lust!" He approves of that, even (and especially) if it ruins Stolas.

To be fair, he was singing a hippy dippy love song in a STRIP CLUB.
There is a LOT to unpack in this episode. Stolas and Blitzo may have started off wanting a DTF thing but both have clearly moved past that and want a real relationship. Blitzo is next level self-destructive and terrified he will ruin it and pushes him away... but the very first photo in his gallery is one he took while Stolas was asleep of them together. He keeps pictures of real relationships he wishes he could have. He adopted Loona and actually tries to be a good father to her. He treats his employees like family, always standing in front of them when there's danger. He spies on Millie and Moxxie because he wants what they have and is desperate to figure out how they have it. Think about Verosika even... why would she, with her status and fame, date him if she didn't actually love him? And she clearly still does care. If she didn't she wouldn't put so much effort into hating him. Blitzo is a deeply broken man who has an opportunity to have what he's always wanted, love... but his own fear of repeating his past won't let him. Stolas, for the first time ever, called him Blitzo instead of Blitzey. That's a HUGE deal.
Asmodeus is way more powerful than Stoals, so seeing Stoals just have to sit there and take the abuse is a but humiliating. But Asmodeus isn't really making fun of him. He's impressed. You sold your life for a thrust, that's the spirit of lust. Stoals did exactly what Asmodeus is all about. But Asmodeus knows it will humiliate Stolas and publicly shames him. There is so much going on in this episode it's insane. Also, when Stolas says "I can be there in 20" it is literally 20 seconds for him to show up. :D
I think the bouncer/door man was a Incubus because of them being in the lust circle, he was much taller then Blitzo (who I think is taller than the typical Imp) and he had wings.
1 year later but I think he's an imp like blitz because he has the black and white horns, while a succubus like Verosika and her crew had different types of horns

Asmodeus in Ars Goetia is described as demon with three heads; the first is like a bull, the second like a man, and the third like a ram. And he breathes fire (11:30).
And we can se his design is rather accurate, his shadow-head with short horns apears to have ears similar to sheep(11:38), while his shadow head with long horns has cow-like aperance (especially from profile 12:02)
Asmodeus in various of stories is surprisingly complex character, for examlpe he can help peolpe if he expect to gain soething from it. When Asmodeus stars to sing, he criticises Moxxie for singing Pure-Love song (11:59), and than he gives him guides on making Lust Song instead(12:26), but when Moxxie still sings about Love, Asmodues got irritated and starts to mocking him(12:47). So Asmodeus wanted to hepl Moxxie, because he wanted lust, but when he refused he got angry at him.
Asmodeus also enjoys from Married Couples that life was ruined by Lust (like cheating). So when Asmodeus noticed Stolas with Blitzø (13:38), he started to sing with joy about, how Stolas broke his own marriage for an Imp (13:44), was the most Lustful thing he's done.
Asmodeus is One of Demons that represent one of The Seven Deadly Sins. Asmodeus is Lust, Leviathan is Envy, Belphegor is Sloth, Satan is Wrath, Mammon is Greed, Belzebub is Gluttony, and Lucifer is Pride.
Also in the Bible, Asmodeus is one of Fallen Angels that Helped Lucifer in War Againts God. (They lost obviously)

Episode eight isn’t out yet, but we have the 2022 teaser/trailer thing, it’s not fully animated but it does exist. It’s also SUSPECTED but not official that Hazbin Hotel might be on HBO Max.
I'm thinking Episode 8 will be out then they'll announce Hazbin Hotel's S1 release date... Only makes sense, but that means we probably wont see more than this season of Boss till 2023... well at this rate, maybe all of season 1 will be 2 months and we'll get season 2 of both this year :D

First time I saw Verosika I knew I recognized from somewhere so I looked it up. Turns out, she has been in several anime series and among them, Konosuba and Seven Deadly Sins. I usually watch subbed anime but I watched the first few episodes of Konosuba in English with my friend, and the constantly thirsty voice of Darkness isn't something one can forget easily

The comment about getting Beetlejuice vibes from Asmodeus was so close to reality. The actor for Fizz (Alex Brightman) plays Beetlejuice in the Broadway production. The voice for Asmodeus (James Monroe Iglehart) is probably best known for his portrayal of the Genie from the stage adaptation of Aladdin...he's also voiced Tex in Helluva Boss.
Facilie? The Shadow Man...yeah I can see that. While Fizzaroli is voiced by Beetlejuice, Asmodeus is voiced By one of the 3 Voices of Genie(Aladdin)

His horns give him away. If you compare his horns to Verosica's, they don't match, but they match Blitz. Lust Ring imps have wings, likely due to interbreeding between imps and succubi/inccubi.
I like that Kirby said Asmodeus looks like Beetlejuice and Dr. Facilier had a kid. Also, the person that voices the jester Fizzarolli, plays Beetlejuice on Broadway.

No it is an imp with wings . there is a Theory that the imps of the Lust ring have inbred with the incubi or succubi .
I gotta point this out because almost no one notices this but when Blitzo and Stolas leave Ozzie's, Stolas gets a ride from Blitzo. Stolas can *teleport.* If he chose to get a ride from Blitzo, he was hoping for a chance to talk to him but considering how they look when they get to the palace, he didn't get that chance. I imagine he was at a loss for words similarly to Loo Loo Land when he tried to explain his and Stella's relationship to Octavia.
I really hope my other comments got across the point I wanted to make last time you saw this. Blitz and Stolas…don’t have the relationship that was implied this episode. Blitz is not shoving away Stolas because he’s getting close like many say. That’s not Blitz’s pattern. If anything he always holds people INCREDIBLY close. Even those that he is finished with and those aren’t what they seem despite what they sang this episode. There’s a deeper hole since Blitz once again, said nothing when under attack, NOR did he seem like he seem to agree with what was said. So he’s much more of a lonely simp than a toxic asshole. The trust issues remain though since he’s so guarded of his past. He’s heartbroken. That’s why he stalks Moxxie and Millie. To see what they have that he doesn’t. And it’s not like he doesn’t support them. The MOMENT Asmodeus went after Moxxie Blitz was ready to defend him.
Stolas…has some thinking to do. He only THIS episode realized he wants more of a relationship with Blitz. But considering his circumstances with his family, it’s becoming clear he might not know how to define the relationship he wants. And if he wants to be with Blitz, he needs to rethink his approach rather than keep treating him like a toy. Even last episode his fear of getting in trouble from someone LIKE Ozzie was his driving point to save IMP. Plus when he hid his face when confronted about his relationship tells us he’s ashamed of it rather than following through. And Blitz saw that AND called him out. So he has a narrow path ahead if he wants Blitz.
Moxxie got applauded at the end there not because people liked his song. In fact it was the opposite. BUT, he stood up to Ozzie HIMSELF to do things his way for Millie. So he got props.
Asmodeus has one of THE best designs in this show including the galaxy cape Stolas. He has the sexiest male voice I’ve EVER heard. And contrary to what shame he put on Stolas, he was actually praising him for choosing a thrust. Which may just be what Vizzarolli is to him judging by their actions. That song is THE BEST this series has done thus far for me. NO doubt.
Regarding your comment about Moxxie, I think this is one of the reasons why Millie truly loves him. As highlighted in the prior episode 5, Millie clearly sees and understands that Moxxie is strong, mentally and is actually very intelligent to boot. She understands that this is his strength, unlike her parents who were a little more narrow-minded about his less-than-satisfactory physique (tho it seems her dad may have considered him later). Moxxie may be prone to neurotic and anxious mistakes at times, but when push comes to shove, he really proves his worth and is quite fearless at times, something that never ceases to impress her about him. And, like you said, he boldly stands up to Asmodeus just to perform a song he wrote for her, even if it is a lustful club. Both Moxxie and Millie are very strong and fearless, the former demonstrating this with calculating intellect while the latter is physically intimidating and scary (not to say she doesn't have a brain tho, she does). I do completely agree with your entire comment as a whole too.

I like how this shines on all the problems with the blitzø and stolis relationship. Blitzø wants respect and deep down craves some sense of a family. Stolis is always referring to him as a plaything and it feels like getting off on the fact that he's doing this stuff with someone so far beneath him. Stolis craves intimacy and is extremely naive.
