Great coin spill find Gin! If you find a crowded beach or great spot like a towel line or blanket line, take a photo or video with your phone then go back to it in the evening or morning or night and search for the good stuff. You are becoming my favorite detectorist

I know, right?! You have to wonder how somebody looses that many of the same coin. 😂. I’ve got several sand scoops, but it took a while to find one I really like. I’m hoping to make it out west this year to do some desert prospecting and to visit Lake Tahoe to detect. I really love the desert. 🙂🍀

I actually stopped by a place to do some gem hunting on the way to the beach, but it didn’t go well. After we drove several hours in the rain, they decided to close early. 🤦🏼♀️. Did you have any good luck at any locations? I’d like to plan a gem hunting trip in the Carolinas again soon.🍀
@@LuckyGin Franklin NC there is a place to hunt for rubies and sapphires. Very nice people. Ruby Falls in Chattanooga TN as a beautiful tour of an underground fall.Emerald Hollo in NC is a 3/5 place to visit. Planned to hit the amethyst mine in north Georgia but its closed until spring. all in all fun times. Spring time is going to be topaz mountain ,Sapphire mine in Colorado and Black Opal in Northern Nevada.

Whenever I find something new that I’ve never found before, I keep it. Otherwise most goes to the rubbish bin. I saw where there’s a gal from Lake Michigan who does mudlarking takes her finds and pours them into resin coasters. Kinda cool. I know I’d ended up with tons of stuff and never actually get around to doing it though. Haha

Nice Hunt Gin. You sure are getting good with that detector. I was thinking about getting a pair of those same wireless headphones for my simplex. I heard rumors they aren't loud enough. What do you think about them if you don't mind me asking?
This hunt with so many targets definitely gave me a chance to improve my recovery speed. Generally these headphones are plenty loud enough, but down by the heavy surf I wish they were a bit louder.

It shows you how times have changed when i was a kid and a teenager black people were not allowed at Myrtle beach there beach as Atlantic up the road. we would stay at Surfside and walk up to the pier at Myrtle stay the day and walk back.

I know I’d ended up with tons of stuff and never actually get around to doing it though. Haha

Nice Hunt Gin. You sure are getting good with that detector. I was thinking about getting a pair of those same wireless headphones for my simplex. I heard rumors they aren't loud enough. What do you think about them if you don't mind me asking?
This hunt with so many targets definitely gave me a chance to improve my recovery speed. Generally these headphones are plenty loud enough, but down by the heavy surf I wish they were a bit louder.

I was using a Nokta gold kruzer in this video. The gold machines tend to run at a higher frequency and designed to pick up tiny things.
You should get a small plastic scoop, you can just use one hand
It shows you how times have changed when i was a kid and a teenager black people were not allowed at Myrtle beach there beach as Atlantic up the road. we would stay at Surfside and walk up to the pier at Myrtle stay the day and walk back.

It’s called a pinpointer. It helps locate after the detector finds something.
