I keep posting the same comment around TH-cam, to raise awareness and show appreciation! Thanks being f*cking G's for coming back to play this absolute gem of a game. Back when CoD games were all passion-projects, and not uninspired and recycled pieces of garbage. I really agreed with you in particular, too. Simply appreciate the SIMPLE things in games. This being boots on the ground and barebones as fuck. One don't need more than that. World at War is my favorite CoD of all time, and I embrace the Vanilla experience in games more than anything else. Screw everything that is modded into oblivion, and first and foremost, screw the damn hackers and cheaters. Anyways. Thank you a lot for raising the awareness and appreciation too for this game with this video!! Come back to play this game, guys!!!!

@@Mainsterr Aye, appreciate that mate! I almost did not think the day would ever come again to see the actual Call of Duty games come back to life, and be playable (multiplayer anyway). This fact together with my main shooter being Battlefield V, and it being close to not playable on PC anymore because of cheaters (EA and DICE doing the bare minimum to combat this fact), made me literally space the console-world again and grab myself a Xbox Series X. I set up the console yesterday, and can't wait to play the games today!! Yeah I became aware of that with Microsoft fixing the servers again!! Just awesome to hear the time on MW2 was good for you, too! Let's get these games rolling again!!
@@Mainsterr Also, I should add that your reaction felt very genuine man. You made the video 3 weeks back, and spoke of the servers perhaps being shut down for good. Just a couple of days ago was when Microsoft did fix the servers, and out of the blue. I suspect there won't be long till these games will be part of Xbox game pass as well. Consider me subscribed!👍

I know I’m sorry for misleading you in the video. I had purchased the DLC like 15 years ago when the game originally came out. I didn’t realize that Microsoft had kept a record for that long of me owning the DLC, thats why I thought they were included when I redownloaded the game. Personally I think they should be free at this point, the game has been out for so long, its kinda messed up that they are still charging for that content.

I think Xbox making it backwards compatible really boosted the amount of people that are playing it! If you really wanna get into it, you will probably have to make the jump to Xbox unless Sony decides to make it backwards compatible as well (and honestly im not sure if they have, I dont have a Playstation)
@@Mainsterr I don't know if it's compatible either, I only have the ps3. It is still fun to play but there probably aren't enough people to really get into it.

It’s on sale on Xbox, bought the game and the DLCs aren’t free you have to buy them sadly.

I can still get lobbies on my ps3 but theres only like 70 people online
