Nice video, what a place that is, almost as good as your kit! Great weather for all sorts of activities like you highlighted in this video. Thanks for sharing pal.

I thought that was you flying in, rather than hiking in at first but good to see you out on a camp again. The views from your camp were perfect, as was the weather and the drone footage really showed off the area. I know what you mean about being anxious, after the second lockdown I had been wanting to do a high ridge walk around Buttermere for the first time, something which I had wanted to do for ages. I kept putting it off because of a possible forecast of light rain, then another day the wind was possibly going to be gusty....I had to have a word with myself, asking what was the real problem and it was a bit of anxiety but as soon as I realised it, I met it head on and did the hike (which was awesome by the way) and it all disappeared. Good to see you had good weather and a dry night, cheers Alan
Hi... I just wanted to say I’m new to your channel, I have absolutely subscribed and liked.. even the Facebook page.. you have honestly re-ignited wild camping for me.. as a young lad I did it every weekend with friends being from Pendle but as I got older I stopped going with working life having kids and so on I let it slip but watching your videos tonight has brought all that back to me.. I’m looking for a new tent now so I can get back out there and when my boys get a little older bring them them along too for the memories that cost nothing but last a lifetime.. thanks again.. brilliant channel 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

@@MCMOutdoors there was a post last weekend on the ‘wild camping UK’ Facebook group from someone who got moved on around 9 or 10pm. I think they’ve had problems there with litter and fires from all the ‘Covid campers’. Plenty of places close to there to camp after a walk along the edge though 👍
I've heard of this too. The problem with places like Bamford Edge is they are quite accessible and not too far from the car and as such attract the fly campers. I'm not surprised land owners are cracking down, especially with the ground being tinder dry. You're doing the right thing and finding the less popular / known locations....best thing to do for now.
Yes! He’s back! As you say mate doesn’t take long to get back in to the swing of things. That tent is very cool, I would be ok in that. Had to come back to this one Chris and watch on the 'big' TV lol. I can't put my finger on it but there's something about this particular vid that is a stone cold 10/10 for me.
