Chris thank you so much for your support, I'm really grateful and woke up this morning to loads of notifications of new subscribers, you do so much to help the community here on TH-cam and have been such a great support to me since the beginning, thank you once again I'm really blown away 😀👍🐍
I do subscribe to Predator BP. It is a very good channel. He also features other breeders as well. I really like the way breeders help one another and offer great Ball Python content.
Thank you for posting the tips, especially as I am about to get my very first baby BP! I’m so excited!!! He’s a normal het for blue-eyes Lucy and pied... I am not planning to breed for a few years, but I hope to someday! I’ve learned a lot on your channel, and also from Brian Barcyk.
I used to catch garter snakes when I was a kid too, but I don't recall getting bit. I got my picture taken in my honeymoon with a yellow python, but I don't know which kind. I've got to find that picture! It was 15 years ago.
Yea, I threw down some big money for my displays LOL. I think I have about $2,000 invested for just one eight foot table full of displays, looks great though!
when you say that ball pythons usually dont moved when picked up, i had to laugh. My two BPs love to move and explore every bit of someone when picked up lmao
Do you think with all the interbreeding may have change the sweet ball python to create morphs?I am seeing more and more videos of moody morphs (I hardly if ever see it with the normal ball python!) ?? It is not just color that is being changed, life finds a way! The Spider is just the beginning! That's a whole other topic! Lol! You rock! Thanks for great video and info! Helena
Back in the 80's, when all you could get were Wild caught or Farmed Ball pythons, They were very aggressive. After people figured out how to properly House & Care for them, we found out they were so mello.
My little guy isn’t really head shy much. But I’ve also made it a point to rub his chin and his cheeks and the top of his a little bit every time I handle him. It slowly got better.
I’m getting a bp next weekend I’m nervous I have a 75 gallon with three hides and a 20 gallon with two what age snake do you recommend I’m a beginner 😅
Hey is it normal to have your ball python go to the cool end of the tank after feeding and also that is Christie thought the good work I told someone about your videos today
but my snakes I'm going to the cool and at least for the first day and a half that's not bad that won't cause it to rot and it's got only my one snake does that I have two and you're an awesome TH-camr man thank you for responding to me multiple times that's why I keep on watching your videos I'm sorry I'm not trying to rely on you either
Really have no fear of snakes.live by cr÷k so yeathey in my backyard.have picked them up n lol live byacreek..love ball pythons n hope to be getting one soon.
This is a strange question but would you ever cross breed a ball python with another kind of python ( not necessarily a blood python ) that's a bit more friendlier
Can you PLEASE do a video on tips and tricks on how to handle and tame down a ball python?! I just recently got a baby ball python and he’s scared and it makes me frighten when he wants to strike at me. Will they strike at your hand if they’re sitting on your hand? I just need all the help I can get lol
I really think it would be cool if you did one of predator B p's highlights or even just hadn't out the sowed where you done a discussion with another breeder because both of you will have slightly different views on things will just be cooled it wasn't a TH-cam talk about your different points on why you do this or that What have you might lower the temperature a couple degrees right before breeding season at night or one of you keep slick insisted temperature for inciting breeding
I still find it weird how my ball python starts staring intently at my skin then tries to bite my sometimes. Take note: he's in handling mode since he is constantly flicking his tongue
But how do you know you’re handling it too much? Like do they get snappy or real immobile + depressed? I personally wanna hold or place mine on my neck for like 1-3 hours a day.:.. but I’ll put her back in the cage and like not fuck with her for the rest of the day/night... but when I come home I wanna hang w herD: is that bad? Do I need to get another snake so I can alternate days or is she ok

I recently become a ball python owner and I am enjoying it . Your videos are great .
Awesome! Thank you!
16:00 omg big boi I wish I could hold I think bps are adorable puppies no matter their size
that’s not a bp
VSM unofficial It’s a reticulated python
I seen you at Denver reptile show. Your table was the best by a long shot. So many beautiful creatures
Yea, I threw down some big money for my displays LOL. I think I have about $2,000 invested for just one eight foot table full of displays, looks great though!
I subscribed to his channel for you
Awesome! I did the same thing with the Freedom Breeder channel when he was coming up on 5000 subs and he hit 6000 subs a few days later LOL
Thank you so much for this video. No one really talks about the trust building part🤷♀️ (your bamboos and lessees are beautiful 😍)
That was such a cool shout out !!
went over and supported Predator BP
Awesome! Hope he gets to 1,000 subs this week!

Spot on about ball pythons. Mine barely even knows me and she’s extremely chill.

Already subbed to him
Omg your “lil snapper” was no joke

Great for newbies! I subbed to him 😊
Great video thanks Chris 😊
Mexican black king snakes are a tough customer haha mine is always in a bad mood
love your channel!
Btw your ball python is so beautiful with the white and brown😩😩🤘🏾❤️

great video thank you for sharing
What’s the best way to pick it up if you don’t have tubs?
Hey is it normal to have your ball python go to the cool end of the tank after feeding and also that is Christie thought the good work I told someone about your videos today
Most snakes will move to the hot spot after eating so they can digest.

Hello do you have any hatchlings available? I’m in Colorado but won’t be able to make the Denver show:(
Can i use gloves for my defensive baby ball she already lost one tooth stuck in my finger

This is a strange question but would you ever cross breed a ball python with another kind of python ( not necessarily a blood python ) that's a bit more friendlier
Ball pythons are usually the friendliest of all snakes.
Chris, you one Cooooooool Cat!! ✊👍💯
Thanks!
Hello Chris, you were saying when a snake is in shed don’t handle it, how long is the shed process
Depends on the snake, some take 1-2 weeks to go through the shed. And some don't mind being handled, but my retics get really grumpy.
Chris Hardwick thank you

lol my little gardener snake named him Goliath 🐍😁😂❤️🐍 he was a cute little guy .
Good vid
should i get a cornsnake or a ball python as a first snake, i know there are different videos on youtube but I still dont know which one to choose.
If you ever plan on breeding I'd go with ball pythons.
Ok thanks for the advice!
@@jamesthornton329 get both, I have both and love them! The initial cost for them is high, but you will enjoy your corn snake just as much as a bp.
I still find it weird how my ball python starts staring intently at my skin then tries to bite my sometimes. Take note: he's in handling mode since he is constantly flicking his tongue
That's odd lol
@@buffalophil3630 right? I think he does it whenever he's due for eating
But how do you know you’re handling it too much? Like do they get snappy or real immobile + depressed?

Alot of snakes they hold by tail aren't heavy body snakes
I wish I had a pied ball pythone but im a kid so I dont have money so I only got a Normal and a cornsnake
My python is very active while holding for some reason
Probably still not 100% comfortable being handled, just need to handle it a bit more.
Did you ever tried Asian snakes?
Nope!
